I worked at Jamba Juice part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great store atmosphere, competitive hours, excellent training and growth opportunities for employees. The company really believes in the product & message, making it easy & enjoyable to get behind the product to push sales & promote. Employees get a company discount as well.

    Cons

Store and Team Members are extremely influential to employee happiness, and not all stores are the same when it comes to motive and management style. Team members vary in level and style of training, making it difficult --and actually unenjoyable, to work & cover shifts at other stores. My experiences with other stores were quite bad. I saw how inconsistent the company was at the management level, which was unfortunate. Many times I never recieved a lunch break, or 10 min. break, while workiing an 8 hour shift; worked overtime without pay, was asked to drive vitamin boosts to surrounding stores but never compensated for the gas, and worked busiest hours with store very understaffed (all serving to increase daily store profit).

    Advice to Management

Regulate how store managers are running their stores in a much more effective manner. Unite Jamba Juice employees so that customer experience and staff experience feels relatively the same regardless of the store location.

I have been working at Jamba Juice part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Jamba Juice is a fun place to work, and if you show your store manager that you mean business, you can work your way to being a shift manager. Employees get half off products, which is great especially if you want some really healthy options for cheap.

    Cons

Like any food service job I would assume, it can be a little stressful, especially during the summer when business is heavy. Management lacks some communication.

    Advice to Management

Management could use better communication among all shift managers and with the whole team.

I have been working at Jamba Juice part-time

    Pros

They are like my family. My manager is very understanding. You can drink leftover smoothies on shift. I talk to my coworkers all the time on shift. Customers are very nice.

    Cons

People come and go all the time, and it's kind of sad when all your friends leave you with all the new people. You'll only get promoted if you work there more than a fwe months.

I have been working at Jamba Juice part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Somewhat simple and easy. You usally stay clean so you aren’t going home feeling gross and most the time a relaxed fun environment.

    Cons

Jamba is very stingy about what they give their employees. You get half off products on days you work and 20% on days you don’t. If there is extra smoothie though you are required to throw it away. Environment drastically changes between what shift leads are working.

    Advice to Management

Better benefits I find it hard to believe you can’t afford to give your employees a small smoothie once a month.
