    Positive Outlook

I have been working at Jameco Electronics full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Despite being in a relatively high turnover industry, Jameco must be doing something right because the number of 20+ year employees is truly amazing. Jameco has a great reputation for finding quality people and giving them a life long career. The company has been operating for over 40 years, has second generation family management and customers seem to just love this company.

    Cons

It's a small company with the typical types of small company challenges. While decisions are made relatively quickly the time to implement is frequently slow.

    Advice to Management

    Take more risk.

I worked at Jameco Electronics as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Everyone in the office socialized. We celebrated birthdays and other events. Everyone was friends with each other.

    Cons

Most of the positions at Jameco were office or cubicle jobs. A necessity I suppose, but cubicles can be boring.
