Very competitive sales floorstaff, cheating, lying, management turns blind eye as long as sales are good. Complaints against 'sales star' cheating, aggressive behaviour is not dealt with instead told to cheat ourselves. Management bullying of staff is common especially if you are under performing. Lot of illegal practices regarding compensation and pay. HR known to talk managers regarding staff complaints that were to be kept confidential. Only 5 sick days a year working at an intenational airport. Bad communication within management and to staff. Everyday conflicting directions. How much you have taken time off for being sick is taken into account when applying for leave. No recognition on good customer service or team work.
Advice to Management
Work culture is demoralizing on every level. Right from National Manager to duty manager we are seen as nothing more than sales generating monkeys. Also we are mainly female staff and multi cultural but stop patronising us. How about good customer service, attitude or team work?
