The work is interesting, and the people are kind. If you work hard and produce results then you will be noticed. Your manager is fighting for you and will make you better.
Cons
The compensation is not clear and incoming employees seem to be getting much better compensation than current employees of 5+ years, but higher ups are aware and are looking for a solution.

Thank you for your feedback regarding compensation transparency. At the end of 2021, Jamf rolled out training for our leadership team on Jamf compensation philosophy, programs, and processes. We will be broadening the scope of these trainings as we move through 2022. We believe compensation is a very meaningful part of the 'whole employee experience' at Jamf, and we are taking strides to educate our teams on compensation structure.

Cons
A little heavy on the Jamf kool-aid and not transparent about pay within the company unless local laws required that.

Genuine desire to be equitable. Customer/People focused and it shows in the products and prioritization. Genuine efforts for diversity and inclusion.
Cons
They are difficult and unclear on career advancements. Expect employees to be working outside or above and beyond their role for long periods (sometimes years) with no indication it will even be enough to be promoted or when that could happen. Meaning lots of unpaid work. No visibility into any salary paybands at any level including your own.

Thank you for the feedback, we appreciate your thoughtful comments. We do recognize the career path for certain roles and departments is clearer and more well defined than others. All Jamfs are encouraged to work towards their long-term careers goals, discover new interests as well as cross-department opportunities. As a high growth organization, there are many opportunities to explore, really dig-in and tackle new responsibilities, while working with leadership to ensure there is appropriate recognition and reward for such efforts. Jamf does have ebbs and flows in the business, however we are a very flexible organization, offering generous time-off and adaptable work schedules that allow employees to work when and how they work best.

Sep 27, 2021 - Software Engineer II in Eau Claire, WIRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Lots of expansion and always tons of work to do but you're never stressed to put in over 40 hours a week which is nice.
Cons
Product is taking control and not listening to a lot of Engineering Concerns which can be frustrating.
