Outdated company
Nov 8, 2022 - Software Engineer in London, EnglandRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Trips to Poland/Czechia once a year? Though they're not that great as only your team and MAYBE 1 other will be at the office :/
Cons
- Salary is far below market rate and won't change in the next few years. (They say they're looking into it but they have been for years and keep coming up with excuses to not match the market rate) - Lock you into Apple (I just want more than one display on a £2k PC in 2022!!!) - Don't produce new products, so all you do all day is make UI's to help the sales people/customer services. Told me if I want to do development to go elsewhere... - More focused on sales than growth. Think their old product is 'the best thing ever' so is focused entirely on sales. The only development taking place is to make crappy web ui's so sales people can just press buttons to get what they need. - Have decided to make a CSS package that they're gonna switch everything to use. Initially promised React support (LOTS of their products use React) but then quickly took that back and are gonna make everyone switch to VueJS just for a little CSS!!! Doing that swap is as closing to 'coding' that you can get at Jamf :/

Pros
additional benefits like: -> RSU -> Hardware -> Insurance
Cons
-> low average salary -> strict merit cycle -> low merit values
Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. We are excited about the ability to add the long-term financial opportunity that our equity programs (Restricted Stock Unit (RSU) and Employee Stock Purchase Program (ESPP) open up for our employees to build wealth for their future, yet we realize base pay is important to our employees. While Jamf takes a ‘whole employee experience’ view of compensation, we continue to review salary levels in 2022 and make adjustments based on market conditions.

Best thing that ever happened to me
Aug 26, 2019 - Manager, Inside Sales in AmsterdamRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
-genuine interest to improve and change for the better -at Jamf we do what is right for the customer, not for us, because we believe the customers are what make us great and successful -only two company values: selflessness and relentless self-improvement, this is what we live and breath every day and if you don't, you should not work at Jamf -great healthcare package, travel and phone reimbursements, pension and very flexible working schedules in case of emergencies. -working from home 1 day a week -very flat hierarchy, everybody is approachable and will always make time for you and try to help -if processes don't work, they will be changed - quickly! -very fair salary -each individual has a develop plan and I love to see over and over again that Jamf is not afraid to hire young talent with little experience only to see them grow super quickly into new roles -very friendly atmosphere, it's quite common that colleagues go out together after work and our PROM commity is planning frequent events to bring the office closer together -every employee receives 2 days off a year that you can dedicate to volunteer work in whichever organization you want to support in your community -cake day once a month ;) daily fresh fruit and other snacks -great Apple equipment for every employee
Cons
Once you worked at Jamf you never want to go anywhere else, it won't get any better than this.

Cons

Support is looked down on
Jun 3, 2016 - Technical Account Manager in Eau Claire, WIRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Challenging, Constant Learning, Dogs, Health Benefits, Friendly Colleagues within the same team. Pong and Shuffleboard if you have time. Will recommend to a friend to get their feet wet in IT and learn corporate values. Established sysadmins and IT professionals in the area will more than likely take a salary cut.
Cons
No career path within the support department. Talent is bled out to other departments. Raises are to a minimum and only done once a year. Not only are you a Technical Account Manager for your clients, but also a call/chat support rep for all the other accounts. You're very busy and only able to perform true TAM duties about 5-6 hrs a day, so overtime is common occurrence and it's very stressful.

Pros
Great Company. Great People, culture and vision is the best I have seen.
Cons
still working on salary but progress is being made in the right direction!
- Former Employee, more than 3 years★★★★★
Pros
* Apple gadgets: MacBook, iPhone, Apple Watch, tablet, possibility to get widescreen * company stocks - can be sold after a year * flexible working hours, possibility to work remote * trust, no micro management * the company is a leader in its field, so work should be stable
Cons
* compensation could be better, but stocks might compensate if you stay > 1 year * salary increase was very small year to year unless you are promoted * projects are not great (arguably) - some of them are monolithic/on-premise but wildly used, some have PHP, and some doesn't have many users but better tech stack * some projects are mainly in the US, so sometimes meeting 5-7 PM but usually until 6 PM

We know that the compensation landscape globally has shifted, and Jamf has a number of efforts currently underway to ensure our compensation packages remain competitive. We do have a global workforce and recognize that many teams have several members in multiple time zones. We continue making efforts to maintain a flexible work environment to accommodate work-life schedules, as well as trade-off early or late meeting times for teams to connect.
