    I worked at Jan-Pro part-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Free shedule, and help to fix, good training and woanderfull tean, not hevy work and good money, work every time in the year.

    Cons

Haría falta más trabajo para desempeñarse uno solo en esa compañía, aunque ya están en planes de crecimiento así que en poco tiempo será.

    I worked at Jan-Pro full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

There are no pros. Gave them 1 star and that's 1 too many.

    Cons

They lie and scam people out of their money by telling them they could make money with their franchises. They are a scam!!!! This company cares about making money for themselves. They treat everyone including FO's and employees trash. if you read this and still take the job or buy a franchise don't say you haven't been warned. They are completely unethical.

    Advice to Management

Stop taking from people that barely have.

I worked at Jan-Pro (More than a year)

    Pros

It was such a great experience and pretty demanding. My bosses definitely kept me on my toes. Learned new things that my previous postion didn't provide. This job opened new avenues for me.

    Cons

Because the company was so small there wasn't much room for growth. Healthcare benefits were extremely expensive. Hourly rate would not budge and there was no way you can survive with that kind of income in San Jose.

    Advice to Management

Other than providing better health benefits as well as raises and growth not much else to say.

    I worked at Jan-Pro full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Learned invaluable skill such as contract negotiation, account management, conflict resolution. Worked with small unit franchisees to assign, maintain and recover new business accounts which earned the trust of clients and franchise owners. I was able to help mediate between clients and franchise owners to arrive at a mutually beneficial arrangement for business growth.

    Cons

Long hours and I would be on call 24/7. If my attention would be needed at any account assigned to me I would be responsible for outcome if not resolved quickly. Used own car to visit account which can take a toll on the vehicle.

    Advice to Management

Earn the trust of both clients and the unit franchise owners by finding a resolution that benefits both parties. This will ensure the continued growth of the franchise owners and Jan-pro as a whole.

I have been working at Jan-Pro full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Small and very close knit group of people. Very helpful and caring to ones needs.

    Cons

There is no communication between the departments that are directly linked to one another. You are told that that does not concern you or that is so an so's job

    Advice to Management

Be around or delegate to someone who knows what should be going on.

    Pros

It's a pay check. It's better than no job. !00% Paid benefits.

    Cons

The pay is deplorable for the work they request. Your territory is large and you have to drive your own vehicle. The compensation is not where it should be. Similar roles pay about 75% more BASE. I wouldn't take it if I had experience, cuz you will be micromanaged for a trash pay. The bonus is the luck of the draw. 80% of the time you will get cheated out of it due to NO fault of your own.

    Advice to Management

If you want a team to stay for a long time, ADEQUATELY COMPENSATE THEM.

    I worked at Jan-Pro full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The wife and most of the people who worked for the Master Franchise Owner, we're very nice people.

    Cons

Was hired as an Ops Manager with a very low salary. But I needed a job. Was given a hire package that detailed my responsibilities. I NEVER did any of those. The work I did was what a customer service rep would do. It had nothing to do with being an Ops Manager. I was micro managed, and the franchisees were being screwed daily. The accounts were swapped around like the wind blows. And most of the time for no reason. So for example, 85% of the accounts were being paid for by, up to 10 or more franchisees at the same time. It's nothing but a fraudulent rip off or what I'd call a "Legal " scam.

    Advice to Management

Stop ripping off the franchisees, raise your pay scale to industry standards, stop micro managing, and stop working the managers you're able to retain 80 hrs a week. They have a life outside of your little business scam.
