    Pros

Generally the people are really nice and great to work with. Home office in Denver is a plus and they have great employee benefits. A lot of smart people that work really hard but we don't get the desired results.

    Cons

Too much turnover and layoffs are coming with the upcoming Henderson merger. No matter how hard we try it's difficult to get any traction for moving the dial on AUM and sales. AUM has been generally flat for what seems like the past decade.

    Advice to Management

Stability and continuity is key. Focus more on employees.

    Pros

Generous PTO package as your years of service and level increases. You will find you have more than you ever could need. Employees can also roll a certain amount of PTO to the next year.

    Cons

Rollover PTO must be used within the first 6 months of the new year or you lose it.

    Advice to Management

Pay employees for unused PTO, especially when they are unable to use it due to project deadlines or providing coverage for team members who are out on disability or maternity/paternity leave.

I have been working at Janus Capital full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great managers, fun environment, company events and happy hours are never skimped on.

    Cons

You are expected to go above and beyond for your partner, who generally is some tenured white man who treats you poorly that doesn't know how to use an ipad, its fine if you want a steady job and pay and don't mind being treated as an inferior member of the "team".

    Advice to Management

Communicate that a partnership is supposed to be equal- "keeping your external happy" should not be a part of my job description when they could care less about us. That's not a partnership.
