    Pros

    - huge market dominance and comprises of a wide range of industries
    - good for people who want to work in Asia

    Cons

    - mainly Aisa, a bit in the UK.
    - normally you work in the same industry for years
    - 24/7 on call - Asian working style

    Advice to Management

    Good for people who find their passion for a particular industry. You can get to the top as long as you work hard, maintain good work relationship with your colleagues and clients.

    Job security.
    Excellent HR development programme from the group. Broad business industry exposures.

    Cons

    Very low profile and conservative. Slow in technology adoption. Company culture across the group can deviate business to business ie could be either very local or European.

    Responsibility given to interns earlier on, great support from mentors and colleagues, good organizational culture and everyone is very supportive. feels like a close knit commnunity

    Cons

    a very big organization; hard to form a clear picture of where you want to be; exposure to different subsidiary companies is offered but guidance is limited; depends on you yourself

    Advice to Management

    More guidance can be offered to trainees who are not sure of where they want to go. more networking events can be held to expand the circles of the trainees and strengthen their bond

    Strong leadership and management workshops, support for obtaining Chartered Global Management Accountant qualification (also a requirement), opportunities to work in different industries (e.g. retail, automotive, construction, property management, F&B).

    Cons

    Conservative; vertical structures within complex hierarchies make bottom-up change difficult.

    Advice to Management

    Replace box-ticking paperwork exercises with in-person development review and planning with Group HR.
