    I worked at Jawbone

    Pros

The worker bees are some of the most talented people you'll ever meet. A great set of thinkers, brain-stormers, and problem solvers. You'll learn a lot from each other. Great work-life balance! Benefits are good. 401k is ok.

    Cons

The executive staff is gonna be the demise of this company. They do not agree with each other and are incapable of making a decision. As a result, products/projects never get to completion, quality of the products is poor, they lose market share to competitors.

    Advice to Management

EXECUTIVE STAFF NEEDS TO GO!!! Hosain should be the first! They waste time and precious resources. They do not know how to utilize the amazing team they have working for them. They've already lost a lot of great people and are losing more as time passes.

I have been working at Jawbone for more than a year

      Pros

Compensation & benefits are solid. Some real talents all across the org. The industry is fascinating. Office is nice and in San Francisco.

      Cons

Lack of culture and values. Terribly poor execution which led to quality issues on several hardware generations. Exec team disconnected from the realities.

      Advice to Management

The CEO failed all those past years and now had enough opportunities. He should accept and face this with maturity. He or the investors should initiate a change to someone who can truly execute. We, the employees, had enough !

I worked at Jawbone full-time for more than 3 years

      Pros

The department I worked for was fantastic. I had a manager who was invested in me and made time to grow my skills and was encouraging.

      Cons

Upper management was gripped with indecision so nothing would get done. Human Resources (aka people ops) was horribly unhelpful. If you had any HR related issues they only cared about the company and did nothing to help the employees.

      Advice to Management

Do some advertising so people will know you're out there.
