I have been working at Jawbone full-time

    Pros

    - Work/life balance is great for my team - Opportunities for growth if you're on the right team and have the right manager - Attempting to grow the culture through professional or diversity programs and events - Lunch everyday

    Cons

    - Slow and indecisiveness with exec team which leads to delays - Too much of the decision making in too small of a group of people - Too many ineffective meetings - Last minute changes all the time to scope or plans

    Advice to Management

    - Decision making shouldn't only sit with the management team - Promotions are essential to keeping people - Employees can tell when something is going on - we're a small company, you need to be more transparent even if its not good news

I worked at Jawbone full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Bright people and good company culture. Lots of freedom to be involved in many projects.

    Cons

Poor execution as a company. This company tends to drag its feet when it comes to decision making and I think it has hurt them and hindered their employees.

    Advice to Management

Make a decision, stick to it, execute, meet your goals and get back to making great products that consumers can be excited about.

    I worked at Jawbone

    Pros

There are some really good people :-) but they are left in corners to do nothing.

    Cons

Very poor management, Board of this company really need to let all the executive team go if at all they have interest in this company to be in business. Some good people come and go after getting to know the company internally, and all incapable people in most crucial decision making roles.

    Advice to Management

Hire technical managers for technical leadership Just because people had been working from last 3-4 years, does n't mean they are good. Talent is leaving, open your eyes. Start with immediate managers.
