Plenty of opportunity if you know what to do.

I worked at Jeff Wyler Automotive Family full-time

    Pros

There aren't many except for minimal , expensive benefits. Pto days after a year. They do have a nice and clean showroom with free water.

    Cons

600.00 week sounds good to learn the position. However they require three 9-9 days another 8 and another 5 hours on Sunday. There are no two days off in a row and they require you to go to meetings in Milford on your days off.
They have no customers. The first days of training they send you to telemarketing class where they tell you they will secret shop the calls you take and tell you why it's your fault there are no customers. They also send you to a social media class where they tell you that you will use your own cell phone to record yourself and the cars and do all the marketing. There are very few walk in customers which is why the turnover is incredible and there aren't enough people to make a schedule.

    Advice to Management

The management at this company needs a total overhaul. There is a reason the company isn't selling more cars. This is not a good place to work and there is definitely no work- life balance for the poor pay. There is no respect for the salespeople.

I have been working at Jeff Wyler Automotive Family full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

You'll have a great selection of new and used cars. The company invests heavily in training and you'll have quarterly meetings to hear from corporate management. The opportunity to make money is there but you do have to put in the time to learn and work hard.

    Cons

Hours are long and you will work weekends. Its not an easy job so there is turnover. If you don't hustle, the hours won't be worth the pay. Some customers can be rude so you need a thick skin.

    Advice to Management

Just because someone can sell cars successfully doesn't mean they should manage people. You still have some old school managers who believe they walk on water and sales people are replaceable parts.

    Pros

Lots of traffic, but unless you sell 40 cars a month you will starve

    Cons

$100 minis, nearly impossible to make a living

    Advice to Management

Change the pay plan and keep quality Employees
