I worked at JenCare full-time for more than 5 years

      Pros

Patients appreciate the special attention - if they only knew what went on behind the scenes. Senior leaders dispose of doctors like plastic straws - there are no pros too sad

      Cons

Leadership just doesn’t care. NO growth opportunities Only care about Chen family, Jet , show , small circle, money money money. Non compliant offices and docs where is Board of medicine ? Needs labor audit. NO work Life balance work MDs and staff 16 hours a day

      Advice to Management

Take some leadership courses from some professionals who have successfully turned cultures around

I worked at JenCare for more than a year

      Pros

1 hour lunch break, free lunch 1 day per week, competitive pay.

      Cons

You are sold on a great model to keep patients out of the hospital, but are expected to give your patients your cell number and must be available 24/7 even if not on call. Providers are let go frequently and there is a high turn over. Expected to see 22-24 patients per day plus walk ins. Patients can walk into their appt late and you must see them. Provider to patient Face time is timed. Your patient hospital sick days...

I worked at JenCare full-time for more than a year

      Pros

The patients, hour lunch an great pens.

      Cons

The none stop heavy work load; not feeling appreciated; under paid. Working for two Africans who look down on you & think their better than you are. Working with no one acknowledging your hard work only acknowledging when their numbers are low, although you’re under staffed. Horrible depressing environment!

      Advice to Management

Really look into your office mangers an your lead; it’s so many great people come & go at Jen Care. People leave from the front because their no understanding no help from a lead that’s supposed to lead. When I came in, I had intentions on making Jen Care a career but after realizing who I was working for & who was supposed to lead me, I started to change. I almost let that job change who I was. Some people are just good...

I worked at JenCare full-time for less than a year

      Pros

Colleges are great and get along well. Physicians' meeting is helpful. Good benefits. Patients are very nice and appreciative.

      Cons

No autonomy. Operations are fragmented. Physicians have no control over how the clinic is run. The medical staffs work under center manager so there is no reason to respect physicians. Feedback is not encouraged nor it is listened to. High turn over for physicians due to job dissatisfaction.

I worked at JenCare full-time for more than a year

      Pros

They have pretty good work schedules. There are always enough staff on the floor so that in the event some one is sick there is always coverage. They have good incentives for their employees.

      Cons

The staff is overworked. The back office staff is required to do things that the front office should be doing. The time demands placed on the back office are a bit unreasonable with the demographic of patients that you see.
