    Pros

I love working at Jenny Craig. I read some of the posts on this site and was kind of disgusted. I'm not sure what people expect. I think the Company has done a lot of good stuff over the past few years. They've upgraded the food, the training on service is so much better, and they increased our pay last year. Yes, we now have to work Saturdays, but what other business is going to allow you to be off on the highest deposit day? I think some people should get with the program or leave.

    Cons

Yes, like any job, there are some annoying things. Sygma deliveries are thrown into the freezer in all different directions, making it difficult to organize the food room. Sonic is a bit annoying.

    Advice to Management

We just need to figure out a new creative way to market ourselves. Need something new.

Thanks for your words. I will share with the Ops team. I would encourage you to send a picture of your freezer to the Food team if it happens again....they may be able to help you address this!

    Pros

Providing clients with the tools to succeed on their weight loss journey is very rewarding. At this point there are no other "Pros" left in this once marvelous company!

    Cons

North Castle Partners is driving our company into oblivion! Total disregard for employees is evidenced by their decision to cut staff from full time to part time status. We have lost our medical benefits, our PTO & paid holidays. We work a business model that is precisely designed to demoralize and dehumanize the core of this company. Market Directors are the epitome of laziness and intimidation. At some point legal action will be taken against this company. Center Directors falsify the schedule they work...the consultants lose hours to support the "false" hours reported! We are micromanaged from afar because, God forbid, a Market Director never actually visits the centers! What do they do????? Now we are going to have a multi day training and certification that is mandatory for all. Pass or lose your job! This is laughable! Since our hours have been reduced, many of us have had to take on a second job. I suppose we should bail on that employer just in case Jenny Craig's new training is the second coming of Christ! There will be no second coming, folks! The expression "It's not over until the fat lady sings" takes on a whole new meaning! Karma is paying you a visit!

    Advice to Management

Take a close look! Millions spent on advertising that doesn't work. Market Directors that do nothing but send repetitive emails...who oversees these people??? Center Directors who bash the company and do nothing to actually improve the business. I believe the email sending Market Directors are responsible for these people! Do you see a pattern?
Talk to your consultants in confidence. You may just learn what is really going on! The APH metric will only work if your Center Directors and Market Directors are expected to personally contribute to the result...see clients, make phone calls...get down to business!

I have been working at Jenny Craig full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Health and Wellness aspects of supporting clients
    Adapting to change
Enhancing computer and technical skills as we fix troubleshooting ourselves , no onsite IT
Internet technician guides you via phone
    Building leadership skills
At the same time relaying only on yourself
Therefore builds great confidence in your own business tactics
    Genuinely happy clients

    Cons

Lost most staff due to hour cut
    Employees lost loyalty to company
NCP made business change to what once was a prosperous exclusive health and wellness company that supplied and supported clients to feel privileged with exclusive hours of operations -to a RETAIL outlet and Jenny Craig has lost it's soul
I work alone every day , no requisition open for support to gain employees
APH is on the ball and above expectation
MD likes that ! But It is only me wearing and tearing down working excessively long hours of 9-10 hrs a day ,try to take a break put a sign on door and here comes a client ...or the food delivery but mostly it's the MD calling when my lunch is in chart to discuss focus/numbers/targets .I no longer answer calls from her when on break... when a chance happens to take one 's break
I like to prosper rewards from hard work ,but I alone can not generate the service a JC client deserves
    Why should they wait ?
Why does head office book appointments in our centre overage (BLACKLINE) when we have appointments in our own column?
    At the same time nonetheless
How does one staff member handle multi client bookings and actually perform great service ?
CD's are on salary and we care about the clients and the relationship/rapport we build daily
They only reason I am there right now

    Advice to Management

We need to have our doors open putting a centre CLOSED sign on a door is low class
Having centres open for spilt is ridiculous
Imagine you travel, you are feeling motivated today to join .Walk up to a business door in the middle of the afternoon to be slapped with CLOSED REOPEN at 4 Now that potential client has walked away because there was no working professional at JC to inspire to aspire a healthy change
We need 2 staff support for most of day
You can't relay on what appointments showing in centre appointments is ..
Business is a rollercoaster and we need to be well prepared to give outstanding service when clients walkin and sble to answer when the phone rings
Time is Money and if people are waiting to be served you lose money
    Basic business ethics
Above all look at what your MD'S are doing to support centre level staff
Are they following through to hire ?

    Cons

You are underpaid and undervalued by the company. For a company who preaches wellness to their clients they do not practice that with their employees

    Advice to Management

Compensate your employees better, practice what you preach

    Pros

I've never worked with a more supportive group of people. My co-workers are like family. I get great satisfaction from helping so many people reach their goals.

    Cons

You have to be flexible with your schedule. It's not a typical 9-5 job. Weekends and evenings are required.

    Advice to Management

hmm. I think we need a new celebrity spokesperson. Someone that will drive people to come to Jenny Craig.

I have been working at Jenny Craig full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

I've been with the company for twenty years, and I love what I do. up until this past year, I felt like the company was losing it's way from what Jenny Craig herself started. However, for the first time in a very long time, the company leaders are talking about doing the things to help a client lose weight rather than selling just selling food. i'm proud of the difference we make and it's good to see the company get back to its roots

    Cons

right now, the company has a group of vocal cds and jccs that are very negative. yes, the company has a new labor model and has cut hours. however, most of these people who complain6 weren't here when the cd position actually saw a book of clients because it was so busy. we did it because our program was hot, we had multiple sales tours at one time, and the phone was ringing off the hook. we made it happen because we loved the company and wanted to help as many people as we could. what i see from the people that complain is an inability to manage their time effectively, or they are simply resistant to digging in to get things done. not everyone is like this. however, enough of them exist, and they drive negativity.

    Advice to Management

my advice is to stop feeding into the negativity of these people who are resisting change. we have a culture of listening to what's on people's minds. however, it's time to move people off the bus if they can't adapt

I have been working at Jenny Craig full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I love helping clients achieve their goals. The Company is finally making the CDs work. My CD complains that she's so busy and can't get everything done. However, what she doesn't tell anyone is that she was never here for a full 8 hours, and when she was here, she'd sit in her office most of the time. I've always seen a full book of clients, done all of my calls, and stocked the food room. Now, she knows what it's like to put in a full day of work!!

    Cons

Our program works, but it needs a refresh. Many of my former clients are trying new things...keto diet, low sugar, etc. We need something new.

    Advice to Management

Continue to keep the CDs working.
