I have been working at JetBlue full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

JetBlue is a Caring Company, not only for it's own people but also for all the world around them.

    Cons

While there are growth opportunities within Reservations, Operations positions are often more hard to come by.

    Advice to Management

I would suggest, more training opportunities within JetBlue to help crewmembers be able to more easily be able to grow their career's within this great Company.

    No opinion of CEO

I worked at JetBlue full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Good benefits, average wages, lots of free food and other perks. I was one of the lucky ones who got hired when the company was new. They had a lot of money and spoiled us/customers rotten. Morale was great as well. Family taking care of family. I would say that compared to other airlines they are one of the best to work for/travel even with flaws.

    Cons

Everything went down hill when the original CEO left. The company ran out of money, morale went down and many quit/got fired. I was #4 in seniority by year 4 which made me feel accomplished. If I hadent had an OJI I would still be there. After leaving almost everyone was laid off and went to work for Virgin. The industry is very cut throat so finding perfection is rather difficult. You really have to love working with the public to survive it and I did. I still keep in touch with former coworkers because as I said we are like family.

    Advice to Management

Meetings are a great way to keep everyone informed and boost morale. Free food is always a good thing :)
