I have been working at JetBlue full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Innovative company with some really great ideas.
The Crewmembers I work with are great. In the trenches, teams come together to pull through remarkably well.
Flight benefits are a great idea and work well for the avid traveler. However it's not a stress free system.

    Cons

    NO work/life balance.
Office space is cramped and leadership doesn't see this as a problem. Their solution is to cut cubicle space in half. Taking phone calls is inconvenient to your neighbors and is more than a little stressful.
No training/tuition reimbursement for any job-related trainings. JetBlue has a great program for those who do not possess a 4 year degree, but if you need anything more than that you're out of luck.
Most work travel you actually have to fly standby for. Ironic being an airline and you cannot purchase a seat usually if you're flying somewhere JetBlue doesn't fly.

    Advice to Management

Invest in your Crewmembers. Apply policies consistently across the organization. Offer some kind of training reimbursement for Crewmembers as part of their compensation. This would demonstrate your willingness to invest in your Crewmembers to promote growth.

I have been working at JetBlue full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Great flying benefits, awesome coworkers, lively environment, great personal message of inspiring humanity

    Cons

Some departments are understaffed leading to extra work for the existing employees, Health care plan is expensive to the employee, Stressful work environment, lacks accountability on managers, can have poor work-life balance in certain positions

    Advice to Management

upper level management should check in more often with the "worker bees" to make sure nothing is disconnected in communications. If we have better communication then the company will prosper better. Should really look at department turnover rates and question why some are so high.

    Pros

The people you work with are the best in the industry. Fun, one of a kind culture. Move up from reserve pretty quickly. Flexibility. Travel Benefits.

    Cons

Pay is not comparable to the rest to the rest of the industry for a mainline carrier. Part-time is not obtainable until you have been with the company for about 3 years. Lots of Grey areas in the work rules.

I have been working at JetBlue part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

JetBlue is a great company to work for. People are really talented and very open minded. Teams are usually pretty small as compared to other airlines so it is easy to speak to people and interact with them. JetBlue also makes sure that everyone is at the right place and thanks to that, it is possible to switch from one department to another easily.

    Cons

Hiring process can be long and is very competitive.

    Advice to Management

Keep on doing a great job and developing JetBlue's culture.
