I have been working at JetBlue part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

JetBlue is a great company to work for. People are really talented and very open minded. Teams are usually pretty small as compared to other airlines so it is easy to speak to people and interact with them. JetBlue also makes sure that everyone is at the right place and thanks to that, it is possible to switch from one department to another easily.

    Cons

Hiring process can be long and is very competitive.

    Advice to Management

Keep on doing a great job and developing JetBlue's culture.

I worked at JetBlue as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Travel benefits cannot be beaten. Supportive, friendly culture with lots of team building. Great office. Rewarding work with lots of responsibility. I had an amazing, amazing team - small, but everyone was incredibly nice and I had a great working relationship with my manager (we still keep in touch!). Orientation in Orlando was fun, and everyone is willing to help you when you need it.

    Cons

Not recommended for those who don't do well in fast-paced environments. JetBlue is also a growing company so there may be elements of bureaucracy and office politics similar to larger corporations. There are also occasionally fire drills associated with the travel and airline industry, such as inclement weather requiring everyone to work late, accidents, etc.

    Advice to Management

It would be great if management could develop structured team-building or career advancement activities for interns who do NOT join the summer program. I didn't have any formal opportunities to network or connect with other interns at JetBlue, whether it be via career advancement opportunities, guided tours, or hosted networking hours.

I have been working at JetBlue full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I love working at the airport and with airlines. I very much like jetblue as a company. The uniform is cute and I like being at the airport and assisting customers along the way to their flight and final destination. I meet so many interesting people.

    Cons

At first you get the worst schedules like 3;30am start time and Tuesday and Wednesday off. Training is in Orlando away from your family for 4 weeks.
