    Pros

    Very fun company culture. Amazing benefits and competitive pay. I would recommend jetblue as a place to work to anyone.

    Cons

    Company needs to invest more in software to simplify data analysis and aid in real-time recovery operations. Our current software cannot keep up with major weather events and hinders our response

    Pros

    Great work/life balance and flexibility in the corporate office. Long Island City office is state-of-the-art. Work with some very positive, talented, passionate people. Professional development and promotional/lateral opportunities are available. Travel benefits are always great.

    Cons

    Some people definitely shouldn't be in the positions they're in... not just referring to management roles. Nearly impossible to get fired once you're in, and I think a lot of people take advantage of that.

    Way too much emphasis placed on talent development. Don't get me wrong, *professional* development is extremely important, but a stronger focus needs to be placed on talent acquisition... bring in the right people, both front-line and support side because there are a lot of disgruntled people and otherwise "bad apples" here that aren't going to develop no matter how many Principles of Leadership classes you put them through.

    Recruiting team is very friendly, but the process is long and takes a lot of patience. After applying, don't expect to hear anything for several months if at all.

    Salary/benefits are lower than other industries, but that's part of working for an airline. It's fun and very rewarding, but certainly not a place to get rich. Know what you're getting into before applying, it's not for everyone.

    Focus on bringing in the right people! It's vital for our future success...

    Pros

    Working at JetBlue is not like working at any other company. The focus on the importance of people is palpable. The energy within the company is amazing; people make you feel welcomed, smile and laugh on the elevators and genuinely care about one another. The level of communication, openness and transparency as well as the effort to always do the right thing by people is wonderful. Overall, the leaders ihave created a truly inspiring culture and phenomenal place to work.

    Things change so fast it's hard to keep up.

    Keep doing what you are doing. You are amazing.

    Pros

    Flexible hours, paid vactions, you make your own schedule . Several breaks and oppurtunities for advancement . No union so they still try to keep it that way

    Cons

    Sometimes lazy co workers , Hard work during busy season. Out in the hot sun. Lifting heavy bags. Have a lot of crap you have to answer for if you make a mistake, no sweeping it under the rug.

    Unlimited free travel
    Great positive company culture
    Supportive supervisor
    Opportunity to visit cities all over the country while working and stay at nice hotels
    Ability to have all the days off you want when you could afford it
    Interesting coworkers from all backgrounds

    Cons

    A lot of lazy whining coworkers who need to get a real job to appreciate what they have here
    Unattractive cheap tired looking uniforms that don't show us at our best
    Too much focus on seniority and not enough on merit

    Advice to Management

    Coming from an industry where senior executives didn't even say hello to workers they'd seen around for ten years, it's so refreshing when Dave will just come right up to me, shake my hand and look me in the eye and chat...without looking over my shoulder for someone more important and useful to talk to.

    Pros

    Great pay for what we actually do. Plenty of perks to keep you coming back to work.

    Cons

    Long hours and may have to work holidays and weekends until senior enough to hold it off. Public can be rough sometimes.

    I have been working at JetBlue part-time

    Pros

    Great management, flight benefits, work from home, your schedule gets better and better the longer you are there and it's pretty flexible, if you want time off you can either use paid time off of find someone to take your hours, trading hours is also a big plus, you can pick up a lot of hours if they are available.

    Cons

    Low starting pay for Reservation Agents but it gets better the longer you're there.
