Great group of people to work with. Good schedule and great perks

Depend on what department you work, you might be face with favoritism based on your ethnicity. Sad but true

    Advice to Management

I have been working at JetBlue full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    flight benefits, some good people/leaders

    Cons

lack of salary, turnover, 1 employee doing 2-3 jobs, corporate politics, was lack of pay clear

    Advice to Management

If you want to keep quality people, take a look at salary, how many positions one person is doing for the price of 1/2 a legitimate salary, work life balance and opportunity. No funding for training and development is absurd.

    Pros

401K 5% match, profit sharing, Stock plan, culture.

    Cons

Under paid, time away from home, non Union, constant work rules and changes. To much gray.

    Advice to Management

Pay your inflight crew above the peer average line we are worth it! Reward those who have been giving blood, sweat and tears for years. Employee recognition is at a low, work group morale is at a low, make us feel like part of the company.

I have been working at JetBlue full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

A diverse and generally fun group of people.

    Cons

Station crew and facilities are overextended. We keep adding more flights, but we are often short on crew members, do not have enough gates and don't have enough (or any) aircraft available for backup. This results in delays and cancellations that should be avoidable.

    Advice to Management

    Set us up for success

I worked at JetBlue (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Modern uniforms. Updated aircrafts. Great destinations.

    Cons

Medical benefits need better coverage and much lower or non existant premium. Coaching policy needs lots of improvement. Collaborative representation is a must as there are loopholes on policy against employees. Some managers need to be replaced for more affable ones. Take care of your employees and they be more happy. Etc...

    Advice to Management

In need to replace the managers that create uneasiness and uncomfortable work environment. MCO.

    Pros

Work from home, Flexible with being able to trade shifts, Flight benefits, Opportunities to serve others

    Cons

Open 24/7 (so you work weekends and holidays even after 5 years with company), hard to use flight benefits into and out of Salt Lake City

    Advice to Management

Work on getting a good company discount on Internet & home phone since it's a requirement for the job

    Pros

    Good work environment, flight benefits

    Cons

No accountability, low morale, department is very low on manpower, upper management does not seem to care about extremely lean work force. Lots of employees leaving the company

    Advice to Management

People need to be held accountable for their actions, when there is no accountability morale suffers.
