I have been working at JetBlue part-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    Good benefits and good employees.

    Cons

Promotion is based on merit or know who but not on experience.

    Advice to Management

Listening to your employees would be a very good thing. This does not mean sending out surveys in emails. The CEO or anyone in the Executive branch can set a target on visiting different stations to hear from employees.

I have been working at JetBlue full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Stock purchase program, 401k matching, profit sharing, overtime, schedule flexibility, flight benefits, travel discounts, quarterly rewards, fun culture, opportunity for growth, generous dependability program, good medical/dental, provide parking options at no cost, awesome holiday BBQ's/ice cream truck, new break room with 2 Keuriq machines (yes, free coffee!), employee raffles for Boston sporting events/concerts, uniform allowance, internal employee recognition program where you can receive monetary value gift cards of your choice.

    Cons

90 day probation period (used to be 30), scheduling (24 hr operation), one bank for all PTO/Vacation/sick time, working in the rain/snow/heat/cold, some of the GSE is poorly taken care of but I believe a business partner maintains their GSE, plan on working weekends and holidays till you get some seniority.

Not many cons but this job is all about what you make of it. It's a fun rewarding job but a dangerous one as well especially if you've never worked on the ramp before. Have a good attitude, be safe, have fun, travel, work HARD and you will have yourself a successful career on whatever path you choose.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the great work! Love the Gatorade on hot days!

    I worked at JetBlue part-time

    Pros

Enjoyed working with some of the crew. You learn alot about the fleet. Flexible schedule if you know how to trade. The flight benefits are great!

    Cons

As ground ops you work out doors in every type of weather. Rain or shine

    Advice to Management

Management is cool but lack communication and coaching. They need to be present and work along with the team.

I have been working at JetBlue part-time

    Pros

flexibility, technology, the camaraderie, company is growing and its an exciting time for the company, i'm not sure if cm's are getting the pay we deserve.

    Cons

pay, no union, if you want to advance you have to move to the east coast, OT is rare, and they just barely implemented it, feel like we should be getting paid more or at least have OT available, feel like making b6 is focused more on profitability than taking care of crew members

I worked at JetBlue (More than 10 years)

    Pros

13 years of true enjoyment working for jetBlue. One of the best jobs I ever had. I retired recently and I regret it very much. Crew members are well-taken care off. The management team from top to bottom made sure to reach out to all just to make sure that they had the support to perform at a top level. I miss the barbecues, the thanksgiving dinners and the company-wide softball tournament held every year in Orlando. I wish I was still there.

    Cons

Working outside ramp-side during the winter was very challenging. Mother nature just had a way of letting you know who was in charge. Although management did care about your safety and did enforce all of the safety rules, there were times that you had to finish what was started. The customers counted on us to deliver, and we took pride in making things happen.

    Advice to Management

    Hire me back
