    Pros

One of the best place to work. The entire team of JTV were very friendly and welcoming. They are flexible with their opportunities and also have an ease to communicate with the higher management.

    Cons

I have no cons except for the security check everyday before we get in and out of the company. But,I don't blame them as it is a jewelry company.

    Pros

This is a great place to work and get experience in jewelry television sales. I really enjoyed working here and learning things.

    Cons

There are no cons that I can think of. It was a great job with good management and teaching. I thought that the business was very well run,

    Advice to Management

I would like management to give more pay raises. I think some people at this business are very underpaid. This is a problem that needs to be fixed.

I have been working at Jewelry Television part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

People are incredibly friendly. Management is willing to help you and work with you. They also have a work at home program. They even give a bonus for thanksgiving and Christmas

    Cons

The pay is very low. Definitely not enough to live on. You have to have a second job to make ends meet.

I worked at Jewelry Television full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Jewelry discount... assuming you like their jewelry. That's about all.

    Cons

Terrible scheduling and management all-around. Once the part time sales agents were offered full time, rendering them eligible for health insurance.... the catch was: I had to take nearly a $3 per hour pay cut to accept. Such cynicism.

    Advice to Management

Quit and replace yourselves with smarter, better humans.

    Pros

Good entry level atmosphere to learn the behind the scenes of large scale jewelry operations from acquisition, receiving, inventory, marketing, point of sale, production and shipping.

Plenty of opportunity to work in various facets of the call center and operations.

Good non-salary based benefits. Good vacation hours. A free 24 hour employee gym and outdoor park/track. On-site clinic. Rotating commercial food vendors for lunch.

    Cons

Entry level pay in the industry that doesn't scale experience, productivity or inflation.

The business allows delayed vendor shipping to regularly influence company operations causing rushed product movement in every applicable department to meet pre-planned show dates.

Turn over. Due to lack of pay and poor product movement and planning (and thus stress). = large amount of employees in key positions with little experience in operations and merchandising.

    Advice to Management

Better planning to account for late product if the vendors aren't going to be held accountable for late delivery.

    Pay employees.

If these were addressed more employees would consider employment at jtv a career path and relationship rather than just one job.

    Pros

Great place to work! Due to having to walk through an airport like security checkpoint the dress code is very relaxed, I'd say I'll never get to wear shorts to work again.

    Cons

Walking though airport security every day gets tiring.

    Advice to Management

Great company with great long term potential, you guys are doing great!
