There's a reason the ratings for this company are so low...
Aug 15, 2014 - Lube Tech in Summerville, SCRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Learn a bit about cars, not minimum wage, discounts on services, free oil change every three months. Job is beyond easy to get and keep. Meet a diverse cast of co-workers and customers. High activity makes days go by quick.
Cons
Need to consistently upsell, or your ticket numbers will have your District Manager in your behind all day. Now open on Sundays, here in the Bible Belt where nobody wants to do anything other than church. Employees are little more than a number. No team work when your 'team' is constantly changing. We've had three store managers in less than six months. CSA, Lower Bay, Upper Bay Techs all left too.

Get to learn a lot of how the company functions and are put into many situations you can use for other jobs
Cons
Workers are not motivated. Depending on the store your in the manager is pretty good or terrible. Company itself needs to change how much pay in ratio to how much work is done. Most of the time the president of the company simply implements things without any regard to how its to be carried out or what is the most effective way to do it.

Worst management I've ever seen
May 11, 2014 - General Manager in Kansas City, MORecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Good people at the store level. Decent salary. Always something different everyday. Good employee discounts. There are bonus opportunities at the beginning.
Cons
No one give a crap about you at the top. You're a number. That's it. Management changes almost monthly leaving promises made by management unfulfilled. It's impossible to get raised for your crew. Meetings are set up with no notice, mostly on your days off.

Cons
Several employees have no patience with the oil change process and often skip steps to move the car along. Not professional and they simply lack guidance and motivation.
