    Pros

It's a good working environment, the boss is really cool , and he is really kind and nice to his employees

    Cons

It's a out of town job, and you stay gone. If your a family person it wouldn't work out.

I have been working at Jimmy Choo full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Great benefits, discounts, and amazing product. Good hours depending on store location.

    Cons

Hard work goes unnoticed, and constant raise freezes that does not sit well with many leaving many employees feeling under valued.

    Advice to Management

Apart from annually raises, there needs to be better incentives and bonuses across the board including one of the most important positions, Stock Associates that bust their butts without the availability to make commission or bonuses.

I have been working at Jimmy Choo full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Prestigious brand and positive recognition. Great quality products. Innovative design and assembly process. Great GM and co-workers. Fun working environment. Generous discount.

    Cons

There's minimal room to grow within the company. Zero recognition for all the hard work you do from the upper level management. Haven't seen the RM one time since I started a few years ago yet the RM is constantly pushing for higher sales and can't seem to figure out how/why our sales are down. Store needs to be severely updated yet the company refuses to put any money or time into fixing the issues that are present. Pay raise/hiring freeze is going on 2+ years yet the amount of work you're expected to do continues to increase. Uniforms are awful and VERY cheaply made, yet they only give you a small amount of core pieces which you're expected to make last for 6 months.

    Advice to Management

Update the operating systems in ALL stores.
Corporate execs/management need to LISTEN to the individual needs of stores and act positively on some of them. Corporate needs to communicate with all employees better. The company needs to hand out raises to ALL its retail associates and fully staff its stores because they keep piling on more and more work with ZERO compensation.

    Pros

working with clients and staff. I love to build realtionships with the clients. I like to get to know their wants and likes.

    Cons

It was just a great company to work for. Upper management was so helpful and easy to speak to.

    Advice to Management

You must listen to your staff and work as a team.

    Pros

Jimmy Choo is a great stepping stone. There is a lot of hands on experience.

    Cons

The unpaid aspect is a bit problematic, especially given the level of work I am doing, and the hours I spend there.

    Advice to Management

Look into paying interns, and exposing them to more than just shoe drop off

I have been working at Jimmy Choo full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Very generous discount, great product when it's actually available, great co-workers and general manager, newly renovated stores now include the men's line

    Cons

Pay is way below luxury retail standards. The company imposed hiring freeze has left boutiques severely understaffed which results in the sales associates doing management work, stock work, housekeeping/maintenance work and merchandising work when we should be assisting our clients. Uniforms are beyond awful. Ill fitting and very poorly made. Corporate level management doesn't support store level employees and suggestions aren't well received.

    Advice to Management

PAY YOUR EMPLOYEES MORE MONEY. Fix the product replenishment aspect at the store level. Allow GM's to fully staff their stores. Change uniforms ASAP. Acknowledge the hard work that ALL of the retail employees do.

    Pros

Jimmy Choo is an amazing brand. Their product lives up to its name.

    Cons

Needs to better inform their associates on the product. Needs to better inform their associates of the crazy politics of trying to move forward career-wise in the company.

I have been working at Jimmy Choo full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Networking, clients can be difficult but great to cultivate when you put forth the effort, which pays only if you do your job. The discount is a plus.

    Cons

High turnover for a boutique. Poor management. Pay is not enough for what you do, hard work goes unrecognized, or compensated poorly. Favoritism is all too apparent and it rolls down from corporate. I've watched a lot of great employees leave because of the horrible morale.

    Advice to Management

Control your employees, support management more and pay attention to the employees who are busting their chops.
