    Pros

A great chance to help our youth as well as our young adults succeed. Good benefits Overtime always available Some staff are really there to see our youth win.

    Cons

Covered up all wrong doings. Treat and speak to others as if they are worthless. Never follows through with task. Selfish Very negative and unprofessional. Act as if someone owes them something. Untrustworthy Lies about small stuff Some staff are only there for pay check. Treated students from Philadelphia like crap.

I have been working at Job Corps full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

Working with young people can be rewarding if they are committed. A minority of people are actually helped and that's always great to see.

    Cons

Like others say, its just about numbers. They push people through the program like cattle whether those people learn anything or not. Pay is minimal and the ethical and moral failings are appalling. Textbook example of government waste. Google it: Job corps government waste. Management doesn't respect staff or students. Both are just a means to an end to keep paychecks and bonuses flowing.
