I worked at Joerns Healthcare full-time for less than a year

    Pros

It's nice having a bit of control to your work day. Leaving out on orders and meeting customers is great and you meet alot of good people and it is always great to have a paycheck

    Cons

This place is just going down the tube, they might have employees but everyone has been on vacation since the company filed for chapter 11. It's no real honest way of saying if people there will come back to a job tomorrow. The equipment is in horrible conditions, Rusty beds and all their mattress smell of urine which you will go home smelling like. Management does nothing to solve problems within the workplace but... watch cameras all day. They have no real customers at the moment and are clinching on to whatever is left of their business to stay afloat. I do not see any chance of this company surviving . I would never want a family member or stranger to be subject to the quality of their equipment.

I worked at Joerns Healthcare full-time for less than a year

    Pros

On call makes additional 24 bucks a day sometimes you never get called. Easiest job I've ever had.

    Cons

Unset hours never know when your going home. Smell of urine lingers in nose even after your at home. Gets lonley. Micro management

    Advice to Management

Dont put equals in charge of each other regardless of age and tenure, that's what team leads are for.

I worked at Joerns Healthcare full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

As a driver you're not stuck in a hot warehouse or a boring office all day.

    Cons

Favoritism, Racism, lack of concern for employees well being, discrimination.

    Advice to Management

Update equipment. The equipment being delivered by this company fails all health standards. I wouldn't let my dog lay on these mattresses. From rust, vomit, urine, blood, you name it and its probably on the mattress delivered by this company.

    Pros

Theres nothing pro about this place

    Cons

You'll be con right out of your life and family time. Bottom line there's no growth in this place.

    Advice to Management

Very soon if you never listen to your worker's or fight for the the guys and woman who make you look good, then you will soon lose those who are the face of the company.

I have been working at Joerns Healthcare full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    It's a job with benefits.

    Cons

Inexperienced managers. they sit down all day playing on their IPads. Managers divert expense money for personal use. In fighting. Thug environment. They hire ex-cons and guys who deal drugs on their own time. HR is a joke with lady thugs as reps. Technicians steal. Technicians use company gas cards for personal use. If you like a thug atmosphere, go here. Plenty of work, but no tools to do it with.

    Advice to Management

A High school diploma isn't going to cut it.

I worked at Joerns Healthcare full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Management is none existent! There spread so thin cause they don’t like paying for more Managers. So you are left alone most of the time

    Cons

They want you to drive way past DOT hours sometimes 16+ hours working. Pay is really bad for some and just ok for the same position. On call is the worse. You work 12+ hrs that day then you go home for an hour or two and get called back out for 4 more hours in the middle of the night. When I started I was told they burn out most drivers in a year to two. High turnover. They never have enough stuff to deliver so the... customers always mad.
