    Pros

This was such a wonderful company to work for and with out of Chesterfield, MO.. The owner was fabulous n took care of his employees. I wish he had a CENTER here in Central Florida.. TY Mr Gans

    Cons

Not for you if you want weekends FREE.. Having right equipment at hand was sometimes an issue... parents n adult students expectations sometimes out of reach..

    Advice to Management

Make sure your centers have the right equipment to train n have casting directors come to review talent .. that's what JRP does n it helped in getting students/talents and students n talent to work harder toward their goals I LOVED THIS JOB

I worked at John Casablancas Modeling and Career Centers part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Working at J.Casablanca was great. The schedule was easy so I had time for other activities, the pay scale was above average , and the people were friendly.

    Cons

If you like your weekends free, this job is not for you. Sometimes equipment wasn't working, which caused havoc for classes using camera work

    Advice to Management

Make sure you have more than enough cameras

    Pros

Extremely Friendly and a high energy environment. Perfect place to work if you want a career and want job growth. You dictate your own pay and your own future.

    Cons

Some customers are unrealistic about what we can do for them.

    Advice to Management

Better understanding and promotion of the Director in Training Program.

I worked at John Casablancas Modeling and Career Centers part-time

    Pros

Getting to know the young people who go for modeling lessons is fun. Their dreams are alive and contagious.

    Cons

They are not training to model. They are collecting money. The franchise owner even told me that he does not know anything about modeling. He knows business and is there to make money. They also pay instructors a tiny little hourly rate and then collect thousands from students.

    Advice to Management

Get honest. Tell these kids that playing house is cool and might get them to a level of confidence they need to succeed somewhere else, but you are not going to make them a model. Stop lying.

I worked at John Casablancas Modeling and Career Centers full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Customers were great, scheduled work hours were perfect

    Cons

Dont pay as promised, 40 hr week turns into 80hr week with pay remaining at 40hrs, very deceitful

    Advice to Management

Give employees honesty and fair compensation

    Pros

Being around children who are expressing themselves is such a joy--this was the only part of the job experience I enjoyed.

    Cons

You get hired and are told you will be earning significantly more than the reality. There is minimal training and what seems like full-time cold calling, regardless of the fact that the leads are supposedly 'interested'. Management is terrible and you are thankful when the owner is out of town. You are pushed to bleed parents dry and to viciously try to get as much money as possible out of their pockets. Children frequently leave your office in tears; I can not consciously advise anyone that it is nice to be an employee here.

    Advice to Management

Be more honest to parents and LISTEN to your employees. The company could be so much better and successful by changing their target market and improving their selling methods.

I worked at John Casablancas Modeling and Career Centers part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

It was a lot of fun helping students learn how to amplify their assets so that they could have the opportunity to break into the industry.

    Cons

Limited hours could be an issue if you need 40 hours as a minimum each week. Sometimes the classrooms could be overfull, making it difficult to give each student the attention (and the chair!) that they needed.

    Advice to Management

    You rock!
