I worked at Johnson & Johnson as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

My co-op with J&J will forever be one of my most treasured experiences. J&J employees truly live out the credo in every way. Pay was great, and the work was interesting and engaging. Most importantly, managers and directors take a personal interest in the development of all employees. Even senior directors would take time out of their busy days to have 1:1s with all employees regardless of their level. If you ever have a chance to work a J&J co-op, definitely do so!

    Cons

For someone hoping for an FLDP nomination, the pressure is very high. But this is a reality for any prestigious position.

    Advice to Management

Just keep up the amazing work. The leadership at J&J is absolutely top-notch.

I have been working at Johnson & Johnson (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great people and great guidance. I learned more at this company than I have at my previous three co-op experiences.

    Cons

A lot of working on your own and connecting with the right people. If you are self driven and can think on your feet, this job is right for you.

    Advice to Management

Make sure you have touchpoints with your co-ops at least two times a week, but otherwise nothing.

I worked at Johnson & Johnson as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great experience for any college student looking to explore the world of brand management at a major CPG. Projects are actually implemented and make an impact on the brand you are working on. Managers are engaged and invested in your career and education. Great job for a Junior in college. Co-ops can lead to full-time positions in the MLDP.

    Cons

Skillman, NJ is in the middle of nowhere, so the biggest con for me and many others was the commute.

I have been working at Johnson & Johnson as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Personally, I am more interested in the programming aspect of the job but working at a large corporate office inherently got me exposed to the corporate life. You really need to network within the company to noticed and to make the experience even more useful.

    Cons

My direct manager was bombarded with work as he is leading the team that I was in. That was the only thing that was a little unpleasant while being on the team. It was hard to communicate fully and ask questions that can help me navigate the next step in the company since I am an intern.

    Pros

You get the opportunity to work with some great people and almost everyone in the plant is very competent. Managers directly above you/ FTEs in the department go out of their way to help you.

    Cons

Work life balance can be challenging.

I have been working at Johnson & Johnson as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

-The opportunity to connect and network is amazing. Most people really want to know what your career paths are and try to help wherever they can.
    - Projects you do come directly from your supervisor but you have a a lot of opportunity to chose other projects based on interests. For example I was able to participate on a marketing assignment even being in SC.
    -Good pay and benefits
-Real experience that you can talk about with future employers at interviews
-Awesome culture, really laid back but can get hectic and fast paced but it keeps you interested
    -Fun enviroment

    Cons

-Co-op community was good but I was placed at HQ where I was the only co-op so didn't have much communication at all
-little on boarding from front fills, makes the transition super heavy and stressful in the beginning
-overwhelming with the amount of work handed over in the first month
-NO shot for a full time job unless you do 2 co-ops, NO INTERNSHIPS
    -open space layout is terrible!!!!!!!!!!!
