I have been working at Jonathan Wesley full-time for less than a year

    Pros

I am a college graduate who has been looking for employment in sales for some time. I have found that many companies requires 3-5 years of experience to be considered for their open positions... and I had no legitimate real world sales experience. This is a firm that allows for personal and professional growth and development within a fun work environment.

    Cons

Dealing with varying personalities within the retail environment.

    Advice to Management

I worked at Jonathan Wesley for less than a year

    Pros

    Good company culture. Good mentorship.

    Cons

Atmosphere in the morning was a lot of driving ... I get that it's good for morale but perhaps it could be done only a couple of times a week?

I worked at Jonathan Wesley full-time for more than a year

    Pros

I liked the enthusiasm and team nights definitely made you feel connected with others. As far as those that I did NOT work with personally, they seem so much better than this.

    Cons

All of the reviews that gave a poor rating said it all. Spot on. They're NOT lying. All I can say that hurt me personally most was how truly unrewarding it'd feel to work so hard and get nowhere near what was promised. Don't bother. Even if you're struggling, look elsewhere.

    Advice to Management

Be honest. 100% upfront. You all are great people. Get together to discuss alternatives for helping those coming in. Some of us are very young and we need that. Why would you ever want to discourage someone for YOUR own benefit? Oh that's right...because that's how businesspeople like you are. That's why no one trusted a single word I said as a sales rep. Good luck, because eventually, this place will have no choice but...

I worked at Jonathan Wesley full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Great environment, great team building exercises, good training, great benefits once you begin to move up through the company.

    Cons

No mileage reimbursement, not paid for travel time or time at the office. You are only paid for time at your assigned location and you don't get hourly pay and sales. It's one or the other. No benefits until you become a manger.

    Advice to Management

Give some type of reimbursement for mileage or travel time. Increase hourly wage or pay for time at the office.

Thank you for your post. We take pride in our culture and our team. It is true that we do not offer mileage reimbursement or travel time. Employees are empowered to decline any event and pick any retail space that is convenient for them and their commute. The commissions ...

I have been working at Jonathan Wesley full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Good training program, good opportunity for growth if you put the work in, great employees

    Cons

Driving to office and then from office to the Wal-mart you work in for the day. Base weekly pay only $330.

    Advice to Management

    Gas compensation should be given.
