I have been working at Jonathan Wesley full-time for less than a year

    Pros

    - It's a great place for personal and professional growth. The training and experience you gain here will bring you success wherever you go. I have even applied some of my training to my marriage, and my wife says that she thinks our relationship has improved. That's how deep they go with this stuff. In my opinion, the tools that I'm acquiring here are better than what I acquired in college, and that's saying a lot...

    Cons

    - You have to be able to maintain you attitude. The field is designed to be like boot camp for managers. A lot of people don't make it. You face a lot of rejection, difficult situations, sales being cancelled, losing sales over technicalities, and a slew of other trials. Some days, you will walk out of the field without getting one sale. You have to be able to face these obstacles and keep your attitude high. They will...

I worked at Jonathan Wesley for less than a year

    Pros

Almost broke even since they don't pay you for gas

    Cons

It is full commission and you only get paid if people get their DirecTV installed. When you make more than $500 in a week for sales, they deduct any draw they've given you from a week when you didn't make $500 in sales. You will be poor, put miles on your car, and no you will not be reimbursed for gas or cell phone. And you have to give your personal cell phone out to strangers. Stay away if you know what's good for you.

    Advice to Management

Just shut the office down. And try to offer benefits if you want to actually have employees.

While our company values constructive feedback and love to hear ways to improve upon our systems, I want to ensure your feedback is directed to the correct company. Seeing as though we do not, nor have we ever had a location in Peoria, we want to ensure your comments got to the proper ...

I have been working at Jonathan Wesley full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Nice people Professional Nice benefits They give you a week of vacation time off you can take whenever starting from first day of employment Hourly pay plus commissions and bonuses

    Cons

A lot of training. Maybe make training specific to each person - I did not need as much training as I got, I feel like I wasted an extra day training that wasn't necessary.

    Advice to Management

Talk to new people every day after each day to see if they need more training or not. As a company, you'll save your people more time.

    I worked at Jonathan Wesley

    Pros

Phenominal learning environment for those trying to get their feet wet. Great group of close knit individuals who will do their best to keep you motivated and focused on the ultimate goal of owning your own fortune 100 portfolio business.

    Cons

You will be sent out to a Wal-Mart in the chicago-land area pushing Direct-TV to people that are sick of seeing the company in the store for the 100th time. You will practically give your free time up without compensation to be in endless meetings and team nights. No benefits and sales reject rate. If your experinced the rate will be lower but will crush your moral. When being interviewed ask the harder questions...

    Advice to Management

Be upfront that you will still be a sales man while managing a team under from which you won't profit a dime for over a year. Empty promises don't go far.

I am disappointed to hear of your negative experience here. You must have been extremely upset, I couldn’t help but notice the many grammar and spelling errors in your post. I want to make sure this was a rational and thought out response, because we do view all criticism as constructive. ...

I have been working at Jonathan Wesley full-time for less than a year

    Pros

All inside sales. No driving around neighborhoods looking for houses or businesses wasting gas in the polar vortex. No silly quota to hit to receive your pay, you get a GUARANTEED pay check EVERY Friday.

    Cons

There is a lot of training

    Advice to Management

More bonuses are always nice and maybe talk more about the new clients they are getting and about the test pilots in Europe during the meetings.

I have been working at Jonathan Wesley full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

I've been with the company for over 3 years now. I got to help them with expansion into New York and now here in Chicago. The company flew me out to Pennsylvania to work on a test pilot with Verizon. They paid for all of my travel expenses including my room for the full month at the Hyatt, car, gas, some meals, etc. Throughout my years at the company, I have leaned allot. Jonathan Wesley is big on continued training and...

    Cons

There is no seniority. I currently have my MBA from Michigan State University and while it helped me in the leadership position, it does not guarantee me a higher position than anyone else.

    Advice to Management

I love the classes, please continue to do those and add more. Perhaps more on social media?
