      Pros

40% discount, great friendships with coworkers, family-like feel with team

      Cons

District management, and the fact that they continue to hire new people when they say we have no hours to give. I cannot survive on one 4 hour shift a week and yet they have been hiring new people left and right.

      Pros

40% discount on items, easy job

      Cons

Making employees stay late (most are minors so that was not a good look), and having a sales system where employees have to bring out multiple pairs of shoes when the customer only asks for one along with accessories and try to pitch them on it. Always annoyed the customer and I'd have to apologize for it because they had already specifically asked me not to bring out other stuff they didn't want. Made the sales reps look bad but management didn't care and would be mad if you didn't.

Meant for Resume Experience Building, nothing else

      Pros

-40% discount but limited by dollar amount, as in you got $50 in discount every month you worked there. So if you wanted $100 pair of shoes, you used your discount, you now have $10 of discount left to use for the month. -Attire is casual, no real dress code -flexible hours and usually short shifts -meet a lot of different people and advise on shoes/fashion, lots of customer interaction -sales skills are great for your resume for landing more permanent and professional sales-based jobs -promote within and quick advancement if you're good at selling

      Cons

-the pay is HORRIBLE. You get an hourly rate OR your commission, not both. If you're working at a lower or mid-tier volume store you're almost guaranteed to just make the hourly rate. -managers are over-worked and expected to put in 50-60 hours/week, 70-80 during the holidays with no overtime compensation -store to store is extremely different on how its run, my manager kept pulling me off the sales floor, even though I was his co, and I got paid mostly by my commission so he was personally screwing my paychecks. -managers will steal sales from part-time constantly, therefore screwing their paychecks -shipment days are the worst and a lot of managers will leave it all to the part-time and refuse to help with anything, even if there isn't enough part-time help to finish it then expect the closing manager to do it even though they aren't paid hourly -stores are usually in horrible condition because, again, most managers refuse to do anything other than sell, even if there isn't enough part-time to complete tasks

      Business Outlook

      Pros

-40% off discount but it was limited use -Easy to take days off -Free shoes around the holiday but the company picks it -Fun coworkers

      Cons

-Competitive selling -Had to meet a certain goal every day and week and it would base the hours you get to work (when days were slow it was impossible to meet your goal) -Management can be sneaky
