I worked at Journeys full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Fun atmosphere, great clientele, uncapped potential. Work hours are set in advance. Amazing 40% discount.

    Cons

Pay is awful. 4% commission on super slow days is atrocious because you could work for 12 hours and barely make the minimum - regradless of how good of a salesperson you might be. Have to work Fridays and Saturdays. Difficult to get time off.

I have been working at Journeys full-time

    Pros

You can look like yourself and the work can be fun. Plus there are tons of ways to move into a career paying role, as long as you can relocate. Also the benefits are top notch at the pay grade.

    Cons

The commission is awful and the back work can be grueling when your pay is entirely determined by sales.
