    Pros

Laid back atmosphere, decent PTO bank for salaried employees.

    Cons

Quality does not seem to be a priority. They are concerned more with getting product out of the door.

I have been working at Jubilant HollisterStier full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Work Life Balance is better in some roles than others - it is getting better across the organization. The benefits are a Cadillac package compared to other companies I have worked for.

    Cons

Highly regulated industry requires a lot of patience and perseverance.

    Advice to Management

Continue to correct the mistakes made in prior years to make JHS an even better place to work for new and current employees.

I worked at Jubilant HollisterStier full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Lower level hard working employees are the heart and soul of this company. There are a few great managers that several others should take lessons from and practice the behavior.

    Cons

Management is not there for the common hard working employee. They prefer to support upper management and manipulate performance reviews to better themselves. They should be trustworthy and approachable for all employees and stand up for or at least behind the employees. Management at this company lacks empathy. The company is too top heavy and only caters to the first two tiers. Lack of scheduling creates too many weekends of additional work for the bottom tier. Jubilant lacks continuous support, tools, and ongoing training. What they don't lack are empty promises.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your employees. Act upon your promises - if you can not - do not make promises. Provide opportunity for your employees to obtain further training, provide the tools required for the job. Earn the employees trust, be empathetic, be supportive of the employee not only upper management to better yourself.

I have been working at Jubilant HollisterStier full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great Coworkers, most people are in the same boat and willing to help each other out.
Decent benefits and PTO as soon as you're hired full time.

    Cons

Processes and changes are extremely slow to get through the system. New hire process can take up to 4 months with many weeks of no contact. Changes within the company are a hassle and take weeks to implement. Upper management can seem stiff with raises and compensation most of the time.

    Advice to Management

Invest money in the employees who put in the effort to improve the company. Invest money into long term solutions to fix the problem the first time and not just patch issues until they occur again.

I worked at Jubilant HollisterStier full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

High turnover rate means you will find it easy to get a job and/or get promoted. That said, it's just not worth it.

    Cons

Ownership is the problem. Work environment is hostile towards employees who try to do the right thing when the right thing causes conflict for management with ownership.

    Advice to Management

Leave. Everywhere else is better. Life is too short to be wasted at a place like this.
