    Pros

Its very very well respected in chemical engineering cirlces and the product lines it services.

    Cons

I joined as a fresh chemical engineer from college at their gajraula plant in july 2006. The plant is absolutely horrible. The pollution control measures exist on paper only, plant safety is something unheard of there. Work culture is non existent. You are expected to work for days on end and there is no life, let alone work life balance since the plant is located in a small village and not much recreational facilities are available in the residential area also.
Knowledge sharing will be a new concept, even your own boss wont help you( most likely he wont be able to,since senior mgmt are promoted only because of their experience and not their qualifications or abilities). The workers are also aware of the corruption that flows down from the top of the chain(the company owners).THE POLLUTION WILL GET YOU. STAY AWAY.

    Advice to Management

please stop your corrupt ways, and let the company be managed by professionals.
