    Pros

Great products, Smart people, people are nice to each other,

    Cons

The product line marketing cannot make up their mind and products get cancelled all the time after many years of development.

    Advice to Management

Hire experienced product managers with engineering background, so they define the right products which engineering can execute in time.

    Pros

    Cons

Bureacracy sprawl. Internal process and system inefficiencies.

    Advice to Management

GTM and selling should not be subservient to or stifled by processes and systems... it should be the other way around.

    No opinion of CEO

I worked at Juniper Networks full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

While this is a mandatory field, my only pro(?), is that the company offers competitive salaries, but I am not sure if it is worth the aggravation.

    Cons

Highly unprofessional company. People get promoted to management without the necessary soft skills, leadership, or knowledge to effectively perform their job. Manager/Employee trust is hard to obtain. Major favoritism within the organization. While the company offers unlimited vacation, in some cases you need to provide 3-6 months notice to use it. If offered a position, I would seriously consider other opportunities.

    Advice to Management

Priority 1. Need more training on leadership and soft skills. MORE PROFESSIONALISM.
Priority 2. Managers need to have better qualifications prior to being hired or promoted.

    Pros

Decent pay. Routing still tends to innvovate

    Cons

    1. Connections are the ONLY way to get to the top
    2. Skills not valued anymore
    3. Too much dead wood

    Advice to Management

Can we please take a good look at the strategy of the company? Where is Security - never on Gartner quardent.

I worked at Juniper Networks full-time

    Pros

    Salary is a big plus

    Cons

People do not respond on emails, how ever important it can be. Hiring process is not smooth, that they never update the final status of the interview to the candidate. They drop positions as they like.

I am affected in a way that they dropped the hiring position just after shortlisting candidates for final round of interviews. I worked as hard to get into final round only to hear the news that they are dropping the position only because Hiring manager's position is on Hold.

They give out challenges for few positions which require you to demo in working condition during interviews. I worked as hard to make my project requirement work and presented working solution with utmost enthusiasm only to end up with a reject even without a feedback from Manager who talked well about my Solution.

    Advice to Management

Make intimacy/feedback one of your priorities.
