I have been working at Jupiter Medical Center full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

if you like working in a cubical and are competent on the phone this is a relatively easy going job and offers, great benefits, great pay, supportive staff, weekends off, and paid vacation. best job i have worked at so far, i am very impressed!

    Cons

have to be a quick learner and good at noticing small details, lunch break is very minimal. (i would hardly say there are cons)

    Advice to Management

    keep it up

I worked at Jupiter Medical Center full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

there are still some good people there

    Cons

ageism, bad morale, nit picking management style, too much emphasis on expansion and penny pinching and not enough appreciation of people (primarily employees and patients)

    Advice to Management

What once was a friendly, community hospital, has turned into a culturally bereft bureaucratic morass of self absorbed management that has no idea of what made that hospital good. PEOPLE! with compassion and professionalism and experience.

I have been working at Jupiter Medical Center (More than 5 years)

    Pros

good team work with level employees, random bonuses like gift cards, overtime available alot

    Cons

company cares less about its employees as it is expanding specifically nurses, Cater to DRs despites laws they pay fines like for paper and written orders about 60% all write orders and your responsible for overlooking that AND pharmacy. The charting system is the worst i have ever seen in the 15 hospitals I have interned and worked at. Policies are also not followed or even known most the time by management or leaders yet your made to sign an attestation.

    Advice to Management

You are losing all your long term full time employees because you no longer show respect for them in their eyes when we are those that are more involved with direct patient care. This is directly related understaffing, underpaying, and refusing to update basic problems like the charting system which is completely outdated in a realistic timely matter ( a period of 4 years is not timely) and their should not be a need for paper charts any longer. Your expanding so quickly your unable to keep up with the organization and upkeep of even the old facility.

    Pros

None- This is a case of from CEO down there is no real concern for patients it about the money. The money leadership can put in the pocket and how the organization looks on the balance sheet for the Board.

    Cons

So many to list. Horrible CEo that has perfected being polished on the outside but is a horrible person on the inside. No morals and values exist and this than flows down to CIO, CFO this team has perfected art of saying what they think you want to hear and never taking ownership of their decisions, Blame game!

    Advice to Management

Leave- Bring in mgmt that cares and has strong values
