    I worked at Just Energy full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    - good location
    - free coffee/tea
    - newly renovated building
    - cafeteria
    - good benefits

    Cons

    - poor pay
    - no work/life balance (shouldn't take lunch or should work after hours if trouble managing workload)
    - You'll only get ahead if you're friends with the manager
    - not flexible (certain ppl in come in at 10 and go when they please)
    - very disorganized
    - no opportunity or time to get ahead
    - extremely heavy workload (should have been at least 2 other people doing my job)
    - lots of politics
    - employees not willing to teach or train you new things; figure it out yourself mentality
    - was there almost a year only interacted with my direct report less than 10 times

    Advice to Management

    - should care more about employees
    - on paper company has great values but upper management does not exhibit those qualities
    - put people in upper positions who can actually manage teams and not put people against each other

    The front line people work very hard and deserve so much more credit than they get

    very easy to get in. Manager is nice and helpful

    Cons

    unstable payment, pure commission, very annoying working hours which is from 11am to 10 pm, doesn't allow you to do anything else

    could be more picky on staffs, seems like the company is willing to accept anyone

    I have been working at Just Energy full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    You get exposure to multiple layers of business processes. As a business analyst, you will be interacting with different regions and departments within the company. You will be working with systems that are involved with day to day business operation and get to learn project managements, SQL, Ad-hoc reporting, data mining and trend analysis. time management and knowledge sharing through MS share point.

    Cons

    No formal training is provided, so you have to figure out how to do the task that is assigned. Unavailability of technical documents/process documents. Less structured in terms of your day to day role/responsibility.

    Advice to Management

    Management needs to be careful to retain experienced employees. Review Compensation & Benefits packages so that you don't lose your biggest assets - employee who are experienced and efficient.

    Pros

    Great starter job if you're looking to gain valuable sales skills and cold calling skills. Good opportunity to earn a high income if you're willing to learn and get better.

    Cons

    You work outdoors..including in the rain and snow! Not always the best conditions to be going door to door.

    More promotions for top selling reps

    Pure commission, there is a lot of resistance from potential customers to even hear about the programs, even when it works in the customer benefit.

    Able to know more people, network.

    great entry level opportunity, lots of responsibility to claim for newcomers

    Cons

    no training. horrible pay. commission at this office was based on how much the sales reps sold, not on my hires. lack of professionalism. No one really wants the job you're hiring for.

    Advice to Management

    Treat your employees better. Pay them well, no one in NYC should be making under 40-45k

    Pros

    Good for freshers, fake people and new immigrants. Just to get canadian experience.

    Cons

    Every full time employee is your manger.They treat contractors as a slave. Very unproffesional working environment, less rate and high expectations, lots of works. Contractors are not allowed to go out side to eat. They monitor your time.

    Advice to Management

    Give equality to everyone.contractors are also human being.
