I have been working at Just Energy full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Low cost benefits compared to other large and small businesses.
    Opportunity for advancement.
They keep you busy, my workday flies by. I love being busy and I never have a lull in my day.
The teams are diverse, a lot of interesting people to learn from
Management at my offices are responsive, eager to grow and want to help their employees succeed.

    Cons

Payroll for EA's is often messed up. There are tools in place for EA's to know what commissions will be paid that pay period but I'm not sure many EA's know about those tools.
Sales support needs more staff for their workload.
Equipment in offices can vary so much, try for consistency.
EA's miss a lot of work, this needs to be curbed.

    Advice to Management

Keep hiring great leaders to grow offices.
Lessen the pressure on TSM's, they have a lot on their plates. Realize that one day of low sales for their teams doesn't define their efforts, abilities or their careers. I know it's about numbers but every team can't be off the charts everyday.

The Company is constantly focused on how to equip the front line staff to succeed. Help is always available for someone who wants to put in the work.

    Cons

Being an international company can make it difficult sometimes to coordinate time zones, not a huge problem but the only thing that has been an issue thus far.

I have been working at Just Energy full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Unlimited commission

Opportunity to transfer and begin in a new territory

    Year-round performance based incentives

    Lively atmosphere

Truly providing the best opportunity for job seekers

Unlimited resources provided by the company

Growth opportunities from within Just Energy

    Cons

Every company has kinks to work out, and road bumps to smooth out. Just Energy is ever evolving and has the mantra of "change with the times, or get left behind." Any issues the company is aware of, they're certainly working to improve it.

    Advice to Management

Work more hands-on with every member of the recruiting team.

I worked at Just Energy full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Company is big on Volunteering and community

    Cons

Honestly, just about everything. There are very few who were trained properly and management continues to pile work without any regard for what is actually going on. The upper Management takes zero responsibility for the decisions. Outdated computer system with tons of issues and no work around. company wants sales but have the highest prices and little to no incentives or value for customers.

    Advice to Management

Get it together! Extremely poor planning on a company transition someone needs to get in there and organize the business. The Suffern office needs to be shut down until a real business plan is put together. Also stop focusing on unnecessary things like ping pong and Foosball tables and invest in your employees.

-From getting in the crew van to getting home is usually around 10 hours yet paid only for 8
-Deceptive sales pitch aimed at lower income neighborhoods that allude to savings on the gas bill yet dint actually guarantee it.

    Advice to Management
