Treated like a number or cattle easily replaced, disrespected, always on eggshells like you were afraid to speak up if you did there was retribution. Just a terrible work environment.

The HR Department - There really isnt one, no one feels comfortable going there b/c the door is always shut and the director is unapproachable and out of the office leaving no HR department at all often.

Pros

Upper management believe in giving back to employees for working hard. A few hours paid time off before every company recognized national holiday. Paid lunches just because. Lunch with the CEO once a year just to name a few.

Cons

If lower management does not like you your career will go no where and they will constantly write you up for things they may or may not talk to others about and always have you on pins and needles wondering is this the day they are going to terminate me. Other managers know it and just look the other way.

The Mortgage company is all about hard work, long hours and empty promises. HR Director heads up a lot of programs and takes forever to reward employees when they've achieved goal.
