    I worked at K&G Fashion Superstore part-time for more than a year

    Pros

    Great support (both at work & outside of work), awesome management, good work etiquette.

    Cons

    Temporary team workers are at times a pain to deal with, later hired management seemed to not understand the work culture at location, only 2 FT positions available and offered to favorites

    Advice to Management

    Recommend listening to each other and working with each other not undermining other managers to workers in order to score points; regardless of beliefs and lifestyles present a united front to workers in order to achieve target goals.

    I have been working at K&G Fashion Superstore part-time for more than a year

    Pros

    Easy, family-like environment, management is understanding, average work-life balance

    Cons

    Management has terrible organizational skills, poor communication, repetitiveness can get annoying, customers can be rude, staff is short and sometimes the line can get long really fast and you’re at the register by yourself, no room for growth, pay only increases by 25 cent for 1 year

    Advice to Management

    Hire more people and recognize your employees hard work more often

    Pros

    Called me back two weeks after applying. Interview was very easy. Learned great customer service.

    Cons

    Lots of favoritism. Sexual harassment and sexual allegations with most staff. Uncomfortable working environment.

    Advice to Management

    Show no favoritism. Do your job instead of giving it to the assistant manager. Stop making personal calls on cellphone. Pay attention to your employees. Stop sexual harassment. Hire security.

    -Great work experience in a retail environment -You will gain a more personable role of interacting with the customers

    Cons

    -Will work way past your end time often -Difficult to move up in a higher position -Unreasonable pay for the amount of work expected -Almost never feel appreciated no matter how well you work or time you sacrifice

    Advice to Management

    My advice to all managers would be; to be more considerate of your hard working employees; have more compassion for those that work long hours and come in on their days off to sacrifice their time; and offer an adequate wage that is efficient to the work.

    Friendly environment. Nice and understanding management Boost your confidence Helpful Weekly pay Tuition reimbursement Nice discounts

    Cons

    Meeting the sales are unreasonable. No holiday pay Not enough hours Rude customers and not able to defend yourself. No bonuses . More of a temporary job for students in high school. Everyone is liable for a raise.

    Employee discounts, though I could not even afford them with the money I was making there.This would be the reason for me wanting to leave.

    Cons

    The hours were inconvenient. They never had any convenient hours for the people that worked there.

    Upper Management Favors Harder to get Promotions into management Agressive customers that want all for nothing

    When hiering for management posistions, do not base soley on experience. Personality goes along way also. No more bad apples.
