I worked at K&K Interiors full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    A lot of nice people

    Cons

    Very poor management.
Managers play a constant blame game. They bad mouth each other and their employees in front of everyone.
No satisfaction of completing a project. You will start and stop a project daily with plans of the project changing each day. No one can give you a clear decision.
Turnover is a constant. Everyone is unhappy and people leave about every 3 months.

I worked at K&K Interiors full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Beautiful showrooms. Beautiful product. The CEO is very charismatic and talented. Customers love the product and its easy to sell.

    Cons

Extremely hostile management team the lack of communication between them causes constant chaos. . They do not respect one another. HR department is lacking in every way imaginable incompetent and rude . Formerly repped exclusively by an in house only sales team, the seasoned company employees are hostile towards the newly established outside sales team. The micro management is unbearable. No matter how hard you work, they will find a way not pay you. The account activation policy will take you 2 years to overcome. Lots of managers but no one can scratch their own ear without CEO's ok. It causes chaos. Constant chaos. As anyone in the industry about the NSM and they will tell yo to run. Heed the warning.

    Advice to Management

Let territories managers manage their territories. Drop the daily tattletale report it's just tacky. Communicate with each other and work out your differences. Let go of the paranoia and speculation. Learn how to work together in a professional respectful manner. If you have questions about someone's performance ask them, dont send spies to come back with secret pictures but no answers. The company has too much too offer this industry to be stifled by a reputation of fear and hysterics. Be better than that.

I have been working at K&K Interiors (More than a year)

    Pros

K & K is incredibly passionate about product and about taking care of the loyal customers who have been with them for almost 20 years. No other company spends the time and energy that K & K does to make sure the product is fresh, on trend, and price right. Whatever product category they decide to do, they do it right.. Jewelry, Home Décor, Accessories, Baby, Christmas, Fall, Halloween, Easter, Garden.. something for everyone.

    Cons

Because the showrooms are so busy during shows, it is hard to work with all of the customers who want to see you. You do your best, but there is never enough time to work with them all.

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you are doing.. the future is bright!

    Pros

they pay the money on time

    Cons

I worked for KK interiors for over a year, with lots of promises which never came along, just promises.
I was a quite skiled worker, promised a lot of opportunities, which never happened, this future is bright cliche is totally fake- repeated many times but only to deceive the workers- nobody from a temp agency hired ther- has ever a chance to become an employee, they take an advantage of people as much as they can, no instructions ever, ni lead, all is based on the main owner sales result- the rest of the company is a slave to serve him.

    Advice to Management

    get professional attitude

    Pros

    beautiful product,
    very family oriented
there is a lot of nice people work there
    benefits, paid vacations

    Cons

there is no structure or planning ahead what causes a lot of frustration and delays, huge amount of money wasted, no management- owner macro managing employees with no room for any initiative, a lot of time wasted waiting for instructions, absolutely no appreciation for quality of work, all based on private preferences of the owners- no evaluation, no training, no job description. no team spirit. lots of promises never ever kept, a lot of manipulation.

    Advice to Management

hire professional management, get structure and job descriptions.

I worked at K&K Interiors full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Beautiful products but been in line for several years. Beautiful showrooms. Outside looking in first time, seems fabulous.

    Cons

There is no TEAM spirit. They will say that word over and over again but reality is it's them and us. Products have been in line too long. Commission structure is such, you can never make money, there are a few who do. Poor shipping, accounting and customer service makes it for a one time sale, no customer retention except the very few.
Totally misleading interview, they could never deliver what they promise.

    Advice to Management

Internal problems need to be fixed before sales force can do their job effectively.
