Best part is working from home.

very long hours for very little pay; constantly adding new students that must onboarded; grade padding since teachers are held accountable for passing rate NO MATTER HOW LITTLE WORK a student does; no student or parent accountability; poor flow of communication; no work/life balance in spite of claims to the contrary; most administrators are not qualified for their positions; you have to constantly call and beg students to do their work because you are responsible for course passing rates; many many tasks have to be done by hand when they should be automated .

Opportunity for growth and development, ability to climb the corporate ladder (if you are liked), travel opportunities can be enjoyable with decent daily per diem, and working remotely

Significantly lower pay than most management positions in other fields or brick and mortar education, cliquesare very prevalent, promotions given to “friends” over being earned, often the “for profit” side trumps what is best for students, very poor work-life balance...they will bleed you dry if you don’t know how to say, “No”.
