I worked at KBR full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

They are aggressively transitioning into a Government Services company.

    Cons

As a world leader in contracting industry, this company is falling apart. Projects are improperly bid, staffed, and managed. In a five year period I did not work on a project that made money.

    Advice to Management

They have completely lost their way. Management needs to relearn how to run a company and manage projects. Shareholders should invest time in identifying and hiring new C-level management whose ethics and vision match the company's vision and mission.

I have been working at KBR full-time

    Pros

Working on Eastman equipment with the possibility of going to work for them.
    Working 4 10's

    Cons

Lowest paid KBR around the globe, using tools and equipment that's broke and outdated. upper management gets all the raises while the laborers get laid off or pay cut.
Contract with Eastman is currently up, waiting to see if it will be renewed.

    Advice to Management

Give laborers a raise instead of taking it for yourself.

    I worked at KBR full-time

    Pros

NONE, The company has just been overrun by bad people.

    Cons

Too many large egos and exec's that are clueless. All projects are in a loss, upper management just looking for scape goats, not ownership.

    Pros

Their isn't any. None at all. I have to type 20 words and their is not any pros with this company.

    Cons

I worked at Wyle for some time before KBR purchased us and we were forced to deal with how poorly they treat their employees. They pushed our raises out and word from HR is that we probably won't even get it as KBR only cares about themselves. They do not understand the defense industry at all and how contracts work, and want to barely pay us our worth. This is a Department of Defense and NASA contractor not a oil refinery yet they want to shove safety stuff down our throats that doesn't even apply to us. We work in offices most of the time here at wyle or in cube farms. Zero harm from what? The roof falling on us? Wyle was an amazing company to work for until the jackdonkeys at KBR got involved.

    Advice to Management

Please for the love of Jesus sell us and get away from Wyle

I have been working at KBR full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Absolutely nothing . I really don't want to use 20 words to describe my hate for this company. Use your imagination.

    Cons

Going to work. Listening to lies. Never receiving a raise. Working for incompetent people. I'm so sick of this dead end job

    Advice to Management

    Retire

I worked at KBR (Less than a year)

    Pros

    No pros to write about.

    Cons

Salary freeze for the last 3 years with no sight of any change in policy.
Your benefits can be taken away from you at any time citing market downturn and yet the company keeps on making profits each quarter.
No growth potential. Management expects you to work on a higher role than your job position but would not give you the position citing cost reduction.
    Red tape.
Fat management layer.. almost like an inverted pyramid.

    Advice to Management

I am not sure if management doesnt know or doesnt care. If it is the former, it is high time to start interacting with employees and understand their needs.
