    Pros

    Amazing senior management and leadership

    Cons

Some bad publicity a couple of years ago with the Chairman

    Advice to Management

Keep the KBW name autonomous from Stifel, it has a strong reputation

    Pros

Provided with a great summer internship experience that I would argue was one of the best exposures to the financial world

    Cons

I wasn't too happy with how little communication there was internally... seemed like you only really interacted with the people you directly worked for

    Advice to Management

the only thing i would advise the management on is making sure that everyone knows who is new (even interns)

I worked at KBW full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

-Culture is a lot more laidback than the traditional bulge-bracket shops
-Senior bankers treat the bullpen with a lot of respect
-Salary is in-line with what you'd expect for a boutique

    Cons

-Just because deals are smaller in size and volume, doesn't mean they expect you to be in the office any less. Face-time is still considered customary.
-Not sure how things have changed since they were acquired by Stifel.

I have been working at KBW full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The money is very good and the management is very understanding when personal issues arise. Great coworkers and a very happy and friendly environment,

    Cons

I can't think of too many cons... sometimes there are long hours but that is just the staffing industry as a whole.

    Advice to Management

My advice to management would be to invest more into the recruiters who have been here for a while instead of just going and hiring new employees.
