    Pros

    Have comprehensive insurance training programs and professional working environment, lots of company free Lunches, good for people who pursue an insurance career.

    Cons

    Company policies are too strict - not allowed to use cell phones at work, company uniform required. Too few vacations, and no future potentials for assistant positions.

    Pros

    Working at KCAL gives me the opportunity to develop my communication skills not only with clients but with my coworkers as well. A lot of the managers and CSRs at this company are really friendly. I didn't realize that there was so much to learn, and that's a good thing because a lot of what I learned is very practical in real life. (Software/programs used, language skills, communication skills, administration, professionalism, insurance in general, etc.)

    Cons

    Sometimes, it feels like not everyone is always on the same page about something, when one person will say to do something one way and another person another way, making it hard to know which is the right thing to do and finding the middle ground. However, so far it's just been the little things so it's not too big a deal.

    Pros

    To be honest, before i went to the interview i readed all the "bad comments" that mean people commented about this company. No offense but i was really scary after reading them, but i decided to try it as i won't lose anything. After 3 months in this company.... I'm loving it!
    I don't know what's really wrong with all the people commenting about their managers, but i've been with 2 managers and they are WONDERFUL Human Beings... They Care about you
    They help you with everything relatig work
    They teach you how to be a better person
    The most important : Kcal value their employees!!!

    Cons

    -Customers might be crazy, but you will get over it one day
    -It's aaaaaaaaaaalot of work, but you will have a team in your back!

    Pros

    Nice benefit, strong support for employee's training. I've worked for Kcal for 2 years and I always get to learn new things everyday and improve my communication skills with customers. It's a great working environment. Not only can you learn new things but everyone there is very friendly and helpful.

    Cons

    Too much workflow and sometimes it may be a little bit stressful.

    Advice to Management

    Great management. You can always get the support from your supervisors.

    They're very knowledgeable on insurance products. Great underwriting skills. You can actually learn a lot from it.
    I love my colleagues.

    Good coworkers, nice working environment, nice supervisor, 1 hour lunch

    Cons

    HR is basically useless. She announce lunch time and check uniforms. Company is very micromanaging. Pay is below industry level.

    Better pay, better benefit
