    I worked at KNF&T full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

This is a great job in recruiting, you really learn a ton because you have so many responsibilities seeing as it is a small company. It is extremely fast paced and they throw you in the fire pretty much immediately. The office is also in a fantastic location in downtown Boston.

    Cons

I think there could definitely be some more emphasis on training new employees and I think that there should be more of a focus on employee relations.

    Advice to Management

The management team is honestly the best part about this company, they work so hard and I looked up to each and every one of them.

    I worked at KNF&T full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great company with really great people, I personally had a wonderful experience. My manager was Jason in the accounting and finance division and he was a great team leader. I learned a lot and felt that I was actually an appreciated asset to the team. Another thing is the huge emphasis on teamwork and working for the common goals of the team. Really great experience

    Cons

Not many, but I guess there are not many opportunities to escalate into management positions

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you are doing but more opportunities for employees to get to know each other outside of the office would be good

    Pros

    I can't think of any.

    Cons

I did 2 assignments for KNF&T. The manager was great on the 1st assignment while management at the 2nd assignment was horrible. Management at the 2nd assignment was mad that I took lunch breaks. I worked more than 6 hours a day. Massachusetts law states that if an employee is working more than 6 hours then that employee can take a 30 minute lunch break.

    Advice to Management

    Dear KNF&T,

You and your client companies need to be following Massachusetts laws in regards to meal breaks. If you and your client companies aren't following Massachusetts laws, somebody is going to be complaining to the Attorney General's office.

    Pros

I have worked with some amazing recruiters at KNF&T. From the minute you meet with them, they really listen to what positions in what fields you are looking for and start matching you with available jobs in the area. They helped me land a wonderful job at a wonderful company a few years back, where I was able to fully utilize my skills and get a promotion. I ended up going back to them a few weeks ago and they have been wonderful once again in working with me. I was a bit scared about finding positions for the holidays but my recruiter worked hard to make sure I had some income before the holidays.

    Cons

As a primarily temporary agency, I find it a little bit hard to find direct-to-hire positions. However, they do offer lots of opportunities that are temp-to full time which allows you to get to know the company and see if it is a place you want to work at.

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you're doing and congratulations on hiring such wonderful recruiters who truly care about their clients!!!

    I worked at KNF&T full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

It is a good place to get started in recruiting. Because it is a smaller agency you are able to handle a lot and exposed to what is happening around you.

    Cons

Salaries are not competitive, lack of management, not much room for growth.

    Advice to Management

Provide more performance reviews or weekly check-in to employees
