    Pros

The company culture of KPMG is what makes it a good place to work. Everyone is so supportive and encouraging.

    Cons

They work their cubs hard, and associates are expected to put in a fair amount of work to earn that promotion

I have been working at KPMG full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Great resources, lot learning opportunities, and working with very smart people. KPMG also has great clients that always keep the work interesting. The leadership is also positive and approachable.

    Cons

There is too much risk-management and administrative task that take a lot of time in the day.
Daily billing hours is not enjoyable, and justifying worth to clients is also not enjoyable.

    Advice to Management

Create opportunities for people at every stage in their career, and empower those that mentor more junior people to provide a positive support network.

I have been working at KPMG (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Benefits (Not health benefits but everything else 401k costs are paid by the firm as long as your still work here ) and people (smart and people for the most part want you to grow )

    Cons

Health Benefits suck , If your PML doesn't care you will be stuck in neutral, Travel for most people but I like it you can travel 50%+ (Yes I am happily married they fly your spouse too )

    Advice to Management

Specialist Role should be redesigned to focus on building people not to increase more revenue in the long term this will kill people have less specialized resources they need to work on lowering Specialist Utilization and increase internal projects to help build people that want to specialize and be less general consultant

    I worked at KPMG full-time

    Pros

Great Company, People, benefits, & values!

They live up to their core values:
We lead by example - at all levels acting in a way that exemplifies what we expect of each other and our member firms’ clients.
We work together - bringing out the best in each other and creating strong and successful working relationships.
We respect the individual - respecting people for who they are and for their knowledge, skills, and experience as individuals and team members.
We seek the facts and provide insight - challenging assumptions, pursuing facts, and strengthening our reputation as trusted and objective business advisers.
We are open and honest in our communication - sharing information, insight, and advice frequently and constructively, and managing tough situations with courage and candor.
We are committed to our communities - acting as responsible corporate citizens, and broadening our skills, experience, and perspectives through work in our communities.
Above all, we act with integrity - complying with all applicable laws and regulations, upholding the highest professional standards, providing sound advice, and rigorously maintaining our independence.

    Cons

    No work/life balance.

That being said I am not sure that there are too many companies in today's work environment that can offer that.

    Advice to Management

Great job in giving back to the community

    Pros

The ability to grow within the company is excellent, if you commit and drink the "kool-aid".

    Cons

Working for a BPG group is disorganized and the work delivered is often subjected to ensuring that the client will purchase ongoing services.

    Advice to Management

Pay more attention to sales practices of BPG.
