    Pros

5 weeks vacation and flexible work hours for high performers

    Cons

Way too much emphasis on off-shoring all the work. Managers pressure you to complete the minimally acceptable quality work as cheap as possible.

    Pros

Great people, fun, friendly, positive environment.

    Opportunities for growth, learning, development.

You will build relationships for life.

    Cons

Hours can be tough depending on many variables such as your expectations, what group you are in, the clients you get staffed on, etc. It's big 4 so expect to work long hours; the pros come with a price and it is worth it.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the good work

I worked at KPMG full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

KPMG invests in its employees completely. Great benefits, included perks like yoga and health classes, early summer Fridays, latest technology and mentorships

    Cons

Working at the help desk is not where you want to be. You'd think after all these years that someone would tap management on the shoulder and let them know that the NUMBER of tickets closed or calls handled is not a measurement of success. That *could* just mean...you closed more tickets and got a lot of people off calls before their issues were resolved.

Too focused on numbers and not the end user who calls in with an issue that needs resolve.

    Advice to Management

Upper management needs to look in on this and perhaps invest in retraining the heads of the help desk management force so that they can refocus on metrics that matter most FOR THE USER, instead of just closing tickets and concentrating on *value-less* goals.

    Pros

This job will provide you with great experience which will enhance your marketability when you leave the firm.

    Cons

Management creates a stressful work environment and there will be know work life balance. In my opinion, there is unequal treatment for men and woman employees.

    Advice to Management

I think that the structure needs to be reviewed and updated for the current environment. The hierarchy structure is no longer working. For example, first years although, they work long hours and plenty of overtime will not be acknowledged by the partner when he or she is present.

I have been working at KPMG full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

It's all depends on the team, when are you assigned to a team with a good senior or a manager, your life will be much easier. Otherwise, your everyday life in KPMG is miserable.
The firm offers a lot of trainings which if you want to learn, you can always improve yourself. However, when you get off from work 2am in the morning, most of time you are exhausted.
25 days PTO is definitely a big bonus.

    Cons

Too much bureaucracy in the firm. They say your PML is supposed to be your side, unfortunately, I didn't feel the support at all.
