I have been working at KPMG (Less than a year)

    Pros

Best company I've worked for. Culture is amazing if you're a positive and upbeat person. Great Work-Life Balance compared to other departments in KPMG like Tax, Audit, or Advisory.

    Cons

Parking is a pain, but that's a small issue.

    Advice to Management

Wish people were all in on networking opportunities like Involve.

I have been working at KPMG full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

5 weeks vacation and flexible work hours for high performers

    Cons

Way too much emphasis on off-shoring all the work. Managers pressure you to complete the minimally acceptable quality work as cheap as possible.

    Cons

Executives don't look out for their teams

    Advice to Management

I have been working at KPMG full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Offers flexible work hours, offers fast promotion opportunities, offers good amount of PTO, not a lot of overnight travel required.

    Cons

Long work hours especially during busy season, arrogant co-workers, too little pay for the amount of work required, can't take PTO when you want to.

    Advice to Management

If you want to keep employees you need to pay them for the amount of work they do. Also, if people don't feel like they are being treated appropriately do something about it.

I worked at KPMG full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Looks good on your resume

    Cons

Work/life balance virtually non-existant, below market salary, no regard to leadership or management skills

    Advice to Management

Just because someone has been around a couple years and gets promoted to Senior does not make them necessarily a good manager. The entire focus of the job is on technical skills, people only treat you like a laborer, and morale is extrememly low. The Silicon Valley office is known for being extremely disorganized, and engagements often go past deadline and can cause stress with the client.
