I worked at KPMG as an intern

    Pros

    - Really smart colleagues who are enjoyable to work with and learn from
    - Bosses trust and do not micromanage you
    - Very flexible (as long as you get work done)
    - Interesting projects
    - Work assigned is always important and never dull even as an Intern
    - Great welfare

    Cons

    - Sometimes it can get so busy that your work-life balance suffers

*NOTE: As with any huge company like KPMG, your experience may vary greatly among different departments.

    Advice to Management

Make an effort to find out how much work your staff is actually doing. Overworking your subordinates makes them look less capable than they are.

I have been working at KPMG full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Young people of same age, batch mates are fun and you get to touch on many industries at once as you start a job every 2-3 weeks

    Cons

Hierarchical, low budget on jobs resulting in overworked staff, performing OT is an expectation if you are unable to “complete on time”, management does whatever they want without explaining to staff the purpose...basically....you feel dispensable

I worked at KPMG full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    I only miss my friend.

    Cons

Too many bias, racist, red-eyed and selfish people around. Excellent in making use of other people for their own benefits. A person doing a 2-3 person job. My designation remain as dept sec but was asked to support Partner. Was promised with good bonuses and promotions but none of it happened. Then gives with a lot of excuses. And all these empty promises usually comes from the higher level. To grow in KPMG will be in your dream so don't waste your time working at KPMG especially in admin role.

    Advice to Management

No point for an advice as these management will not care.
