I have been working at KRA Corporation full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Helping customers who were serious about finding employment.

    Cons

The biggest con is the company began to downsize personnel, and other staff members became responsible for multiple positions, without additional pay. Some people absorbed 4-6 positions, in additional to the responsibilities they were hired to carry out. Unreasonable expectation.

We eventually found out that our site would be closed, therefore everyone would be laid off. Last days were staggered based on seniority. No severance package. Reassured that unemployment claims would not be contested.

    Pros

Room for growth, internal promotions are recommended rather than outsource for new employees. If you want to grow, they have an outstanding professional development budget and KRA will invest $$$ in training their employees. Very good relationship with management and corporate office, open door policy. Managers are great at conflict resolution among staff and stakeholders, and all corporate employees are warm, welcoming and the CEO is very personable! KRA believes in INCENTIVES< INCENTIVES< INCENTIVES!!!!!

    Cons

Due to some contract provisions employees cannot receive adequate pay for tenure and workload carried

    Advice to Management

no real cons with management, advocate for better pay for your employees as much as you can.

    Advice to Management

Hire qualified candidates rather than hiring unqualified candidates who get terminated.

    Pros

good experience if you're interested in case management
it's a JOB and in this economy that's saying a lot
job security, knew i could maintain my position although it was a contracted job
good relationships with immediate supervisor, open-door policy

    Cons

    lack of upward mobility
pay is not commensurate with work load or experience
numbers driven, often at the expense of truly helping the client become self-sufficient
quality assurance only becomes an issue during contract renewal season

    Advice to Management

pay people what they are worth
if you're going to set a precedent, maintain it always, not just during times when the contract is up for grabs

    Negative Outlook

    Pros

Co-workers are very nice and hard working

    Cons

Want to work here? Here’s what you need to know. You are paid exactly the same as every other career agent regardless of your experience, education and how well you perform. Any bonus – the same so don’t knock yourself out. No advancement. The dress code is ridiculous! You have to account for every minute of your time in 3 different ways. Professional development – doesn’t exist. Supervisors – don’t expect them to help you or watch your back. They are there to micro-manage the process to the nth degree cuz it’s all about numbers (people) and accountability (you). Little to nothing to offer customers, and lots of data entry and stupid reports. Coworkers are nice and helpful – in the same boat as you.

    Advice to Management

Quit micro-managing and give employees the tools to succeed. Learn how to motivate your people.

    Negative Outlook

I worked at KRA Corporation full-time

    Pros

Some nice people for whom I felt badly. They were mistreated and undervalued.

    Cons

Too many to itemize but include very poor leadership at the top, pathetic work ethic on the part of many (they make a full time job out of texting and watching videos on their iPhones), unrealistic caseloads for poor Career Agents, all about numbers, work in cattle pen tiny workstations, disgusting

    Advice to Management

Let a professionally run organization "win the contract" with Capital Workforce Partners. Give up the ruse.
