No opinion of CEOI worked at KRA Corporation full-time

It’s a minority own corporation. Mission and Vision. Promote from within. Build meaningful relationships.

Doesn't RecommendNeutral OutlookDisapproves of CEOI worked at KRA Corporation full-time for more than 5 years
Pros
Great Industry...(Workforce Development) the company helps people get jobs by building them up (mentally), providing and/ or coordinating training, helping participants overcome numerous "barriers" (ie childcare, housing, education etc) to achieve long term employment. Which in my humble opinion is how you make a lasting impact on the participant, their children and their community. Most people work in the industry because they love helping people not to make $$$$.
Cons
Difficult industry... the great majority of $$$ is gov't based (ie Federal, State, County) so their is significant compliance requirements... and the $$$ is never enough. As noted in the Pro's... most people work in the industry because they love helping people... so it's not a 9-5pm job. As an industry, staff is underpaid comparative to other industry's... difficult to find and retain talent... Bottomline , our society doesn't value "social services" therefore doesn't invest / fund them adequately
