Advice to Management
Give service techs a break from the road. Flip flop people every 2 weeks for example on learn term assignments to spread the wealth and break from the road. If I don’t take PTO, I can guarantee I won’t be home.

I worked at KUKA Robotics full-time (More than a year)
Pros
Pay is good, plenty of travel (if you're into that), company provided training
Cons
Poor management, no room for advancement if you're good at your job, decent insurance is way too expensive considering the size of the company, no company credit card for travel
Advice to Management
Stop with the "turn and burn" approach you have with road warriors. Every (2) years there is a mass exodus of Service Engineers and that's directly related to how the work horses are beaten down over and over again while the "do nothings" of the group are coddled. The good workers have a hard time getting weekends off and vacation time approved. Quit the micro management of the good workers and start looking a little more at the lesser techs. Hold the sub-par employees accountable for their shoddy work. Provide a company credit card for travel expenses - there's no reason a company of this size should expect us to float the costs of travel.
I worked at KUKA Robotics full-time (More than 3 years)
Pros
It normally has constant work.
Cons
Older building, outdated, kind of dirty
Pros
Everyone is very friendly and helpful, the building is well-maintained inside and out, and they truly care about their employees.
Cons
No cons in my opinion!
Pros
Great team, liked the people I worked with for the most part
Cons
Terrible management/scheduling. They don't care about quality of life
I have been working at KUKA Robotics full-time (More than 8 years)
Pros
travel to Germany when applicable, great international team, fast paced environment. Management has a family first policy which really helps when there are situations at home which may need work to be somewhat flexible.
Cons
Some serious morale problems that are not addressed by upper management. Very different management expectations depending on which department. Not a unified company and serious departmental rivalries.
